Emilia Locke is your typical vampire. Black hair and red eyes. A streak of red through the hair. Thinks she is bad  to the bone.

No vampire goes by their official name, they either choose or make their own code name.

Throughout Emailia's 253 years on the planet, she has earned her code name Jinxx. Tricking her victims into letting her devour them, that's her speciality. No kid, adult, or creature is safe where Jinxx is concerned.

She has allowed herself to trust few, a few select friends. Star, Tor, and Gazelle are the only friends she gained over the years. Tor, chose his own code name while the other two earned theirs. Tor has short cropped black hair with red eyes that have a line of green through the middle. Tor is about 325 years old, from what Jinxx has gathered in her sources.

Gazelle is the oldest, he sits at 623 years old. He has male-long black hair and his eyes are his most unique future. Vampires eyes are usually red with a speck of their natural coloring from when they were human, Gazelle's eyes are not that way. With his human green dominating his irises, there is only a thin ring of red around his pupil. Earned his code name from the way he moves in stalks his prey.

Star is far from your typical vampire. She is a goody-two killer. She gets your meals from the hospital. The occasional ones she will kill. A blonde with a bob cut and blue eyes with a literal star of red in her right eye. She could pass for human as long as she lied about her age, 178 years old. Makes everyone feel like a star, then kills them.

Over the years new technology has been released by vampire scientists. Every vampire is issued one ring and no more. The ring is to look ordinary but it allows vampires to walk in the sun without combusting. The rings are metal bands set with a gemstone of some kind into the centet. The stone has nothing to do with the protection, the band is enchanted.

Amethyst, pearl, and emerald are the most common but there are a few diamond and sapphire rings throughout the world.

Most vampires still have their rings but some have lost theirs,  when this happens they tend to steal from others.  Most have decoys so those that steal will take a decoy instead of the real one.
