You were finding your new normalcy at the compound over the next few weeks, you trained more than you ever had in your life, even with the military. Nat, Steve and Bucky all traded off on going round for round with you on the mat. Bucky was teaching you how to use knives and Nat was teaching you about different weapons she used while out in the field. Steve quit holding back with you.

Tony was easing himself into a role of a dad by sharing Stark family stories and he gave to a small diamond necklace that was owned by his mother. You were still healing from the loss of you mother but now you had something you never had before.

A family.

All of them just as dysfunctional as you, maybe even worse at times but they were yours. You weren't worried about being activated by a code and even if you had one it died with Karpov when the Avengers had taken them down anyways. So now there was nothing left but enjoying your new life and family.

Everyone gathered around the dinner table as loud thunderous crackle came from outside the compound. Your head jerked towards the glass window to see a blonde haired man strutting up to the patio from the back lawn. He had a large flowing red cape paired with a hammer and you knew immediately you were finally getting to be the infamous Thor.

After the battle of New York he had been in and out of the compound either to share intel about the other realms or just have a stiff drink with Tony but he hadn't been back since your arrival to the compound. The sliding glass door of the patio opened and everyone abrupt from their seats to exchange hellos and hugs.

"Pizza? That is one thing I miss about this realm." Thor sat down at an empty seat across from you and Bucky and started grabbing for a slice. With cheese dangling from his mouth he noticed you and smirked. "Who are you?" He pointed the floppy piece of pizza your way.

You smiled to yourself, not for a cocky reason but because it would be the first time you were able to introduce yourself with your new name, the name you were suppose to carry all along.

"Y/n Stark. It's a pleasure to meet you Thor, I've heard good things." You caught Tony out of the corner of your eye beaming with approval and you shook Thors hand over the table.

It took a few seconds for it to sink in with Thor, the last name that you told him before he started shifting his gaze between you and Tony chewing loudly.

"Stark? What have I missed?" He furrowed his brows taking another large bite.

"A lot point break." Tony chuckled. "What's with the visit?"

"Ah yes, it's Loki's scepter. Fury contacted me to search for it after it went missing and I believe it never left earth. A faction of Hydra has it." He looked to the group.

"It can't be activated without the tesseract right?" You looked at Thor.

Shield had taken Loki's scepter after New York but it was useless with out its power source. You knew the previous mission of the Avengers in and out after Nat gave you files to study up on, she wanted you well versed in every enemy they ever had.

"Think of it like a harness, it can help channel lots of things not just the tesseract." Thor moved to the fridge in the kitchen helping himself to a glass of water as he explained. "Fury was hoping I could track it but everywhere I've looked has been a dead end."

"Alright we can start on it first thing in the morning." Tony nodded his head at Thor as he pulled out his phone.

You knew Tony was starting on it now, having Jarvis scouring the internet for any sign of it or any known Hydra members. You eyed him suspiciously and gave a small chuckle when he shrugged his shoulders and smirked at you. A small moment you shared as father and daughter.
