Okay back to regular chapters______
It was bittersweet seeing everyone again. Each one of your stood in the room listening to your father and Bruce go over how a time heist would work. You half heartily paid attention, you were slightly distracted by the overweight and beer chugging Thor in the corner of the room. Apparently no one was going to comment on that.
A board in the room held each location and time that the stones had crossed paths with the team. It was interesting to see everyone in the same room again working together, the only person you had really seen in the past five years was Clint- neither one of you were going to talk about happened during that time- but you were pretty sure Rhodes knew. Which means he probably gave your father a good idea as well.
They should of been able to map it out from the new scars that were worn upon your skin. One jagged edge down your cheek from a blade in Peru, a few bullet wounds in your shoulder from Iran and a nasty one that went down your entire arm from when you fell off the over pass in Czech. All of them gained while you were ridding the world of the scum that filled it.
"What do you think?" Your dad nudged your arm while Bruce went over the new suits they would use for the mission.
"I don't want to get too hopeful just in case something goes sideways but at the same time I'm ready to make any sacrifice for them to all come back." You answered truthfully. "I want Morgan to know them and I want her to know that they are all heroes."
"She knows her sister is one." Tony nudged you again smiling.
"Only let her know the good things. We don't need her learning about the Stark flaws just yet." Both of you let out a small laugh. "No matter the outcome I plan on sticking around. She deserves a new world, a safe one."
You truly meant it. You wanted to give Morgan the opportunity to grow up with other kids and learn about the world outside the cabin compound they had lived at for the past five years. You wanted to give her a normal life unlike the one you had. You wanted her to grow up with stories of the Avengers and being able to bring Thor to show n tell day, hopefully he leaves the beer at home- okay maybe bring Cap to show n tell day instead. You wanted her to be able to experience college and the entire world not just half of it.
"I got you something though." Tony grabbed an black case from the ground and laid it on the cart in front of you. "I didn't really know who I was making it for until I was done."
Inside the case was two bracelets like the ones you currently wore. Tony carefully deactivated your current bracelets and replaced them with the new nanotech ones while going over the specs. "It can harness a hell of a lot more power that your current suit and it's a lot more intuitive."

You helped Bruce set the controls for the jump as you watched everyone step onto the podium with their missions ahead of them. The jump would only be second for you and Bruce but they would have tons on time at their destinations. For as intelligent as you were half of the things Bruce and your father explained about the actually time travel flew right over your head.
Perching up onto a stood next to Bruce you counted down the jumping sequence while everyone stood on the platform. The room was heavy with different emotions, all of you knowing this was tour only chance. If literal time travel couldn't fix this then nothing could.
The team disappeared with a quick flash and you started working quickly to reverse the machine to bring them back counting down from ten again. Ten seconds of time for you equaled hours of time for them.
"3...2...1.."
The flash of light reappeared and a full platform was before you. Everyone grew excited as everyone began to realize they had gotten the stones they needed. It wasn't until you watched Clint fall to his knees that you realized Nat wasn't on the platform.
"Where's Nat?" Bruce asked but you already knew the answer by Clint's desperation. She was gone.
You walked out of the room unsure if you were going to scream, cry or internally explode. Thanos had taken another person from your life again. Leaning against the balcony outside you suddenly wished you smoked cigarettes, after all of this was said and done it was a habit you might just start.
It wasn't fair, Nat had been the only one to stay behind for five year and try daily to get everyone back. She wasn't a God like Thor or a genius like your dad. compared to the rest of the Avengers she was relatively normal but she was the one who kept it together better than any one else. When all of you had given up she never did. She gave the ultimate sacrifice for everyone.
Clint, Thor, Steve and Tony all found their way outside with you, each one of them trying to process the information in their own way.
"Do we know if she had any family?" Your dad asked quietly.
"Us." Steve answered him.
"Actually," You started. Nat had came to you years ago for a therapy session. There was things in her past that she had felt she resolved but still haunted her in the night. That's when you learned about the cruel life she was given as the black widow but the sister she gained in the process. "She has a sister but she was taken during the blip."
It quickly became apparent that no one really knew Nat like they thought they did. All of you might of fought along side each other but you didn't really know each other.
Clint was taking it the hardest as he was arguing with Thor about the ability to be able to bring her back or not with the stones. You knew it was a hard pill to swallow but if Nat could chose the way she would go it would be like this. It would be so others could live. She had found a way to wipe her red ledger clean.
"Were gonna make it worth it." You nodded to Clint making your way back into the lab. It was time to bring everyone home.
__________
Each one of you watch as the stones are put into place with the new gauntlet. Six little gem stones shaped the hell you had been living in the last five years.
"Question is who is going to snap their finger?" Rocket asked stepping away from the glove.
"I'll do it." Thor start for the glove as each one of your protested.
"Woah woah." You chimed in.
"I'm the strongest Avenger." Thor started to justify.
"Thor you smell like a college frat house and fucking cheese whiz. Chill okay?" You shook your head motioning to his state with your hand.
"I'll do it." Bruce exhaled. "It's mostly gamma radiation anyways, it's like I was made for this." And maybe he was.
After a few moments Tony activates barn door protocols as you bring your nano suit up to cover your body and Steve holds up his shield. Bruce pushes the gauntlet onto his had and you all watches as the power of all six stones begin coursing through him, weighing him down physically. As he struggles he yells out that's hes okay and strains to put his fingers together and he snaps before tearing the gauntlet off.
It was quiet bland though nothing happened. You didn't really know what to expect though. Each one of you looked around at eachother wondering if it had worked. Then you looked down to CLint's phone as it rang and Laura's picture was on the caller ID.
It had worked.
Your eyes lit up with hope and all you wanted to do was blast off to Wakanda to see Bucky but as you turned towards your father to celebrate an explosion threw you and Steve across the room.
