I can't let Pietro die..... period. So he survived.

    The compound was growing crowded with Wanda and Pietro coming into the Avengers fold but you were happy for it. You had spent time with both of them going over their past and their abilities. You helped them ease parts of the pain and find some closure from the trauma that the Stark name had given them.

Bucky was training daily with Steve while you and your dad worked in the lab designing a new Avengers facility. As the team was growing you both knew you'd need somewhere for everyone to train and live. Also this compound proved a little lacking on the security in the past. You wanted to make sure the new compound fit everyone comfortably and safely. Especially the twins. With rumors already flying around about enhanced beings you didn't need some group coming after them.

"How much power do you need for the lab?" You looked to Tony over the hologram.

"A lot." He smirked zooming in on his future lab.

"Arc power is gathering best for you but really i think it would be good PR if we use some sustainable energy. Solar possibly." You flipped the data into the hologram giving you an idea how much power it would take to run the rest of the compound. You watched him roll his eyes at your 'PR' comment and you sighed deeply Tony never played well with the press. "After Sokovia we need all the good PR we can get. Half the world loves the Avengers and half want to see us burn."

He brought his hands to rest on his chin, most would of thought he was dismissing the conversation and studying the hologram but you knew better you knew he carried the guilt of Sokovia and there was nothing you could do to change his mind. The world was coming to a tipping point with the Avengers a lot of high powered delegates felt that they had too much power and some felt that it needed to be regulated.

You on the other hand knew governments only wanted the power the Avengers had, if one country controlled the group then they controlled the world. It would be a blood bath. And what if a country needed you but whoever was pulling the strings wouldn't let you go. The good for the world might not be good for them. That's how the government and nations worked. You knew it first hand.

But some debt needed to be paid to Sokovia, Tony had already wrote a check and sent tons of workers out there to help with the damage but the world wasn't going to see that. They were only going to see the rumble.

Vision had kept to himself most of the time since everyone had gotten back to the compound, he had made friends with Wanda which was good for both of them but the world didn't need to know about Vision just yet or the mind stone. Thor had explained it to be one of the five infinity stones that were spread across the universe all to keep a balance and distance from eachother. If someone were to get ahold of them all it would be the end of the world as you knew it.

Everyone tiptoeing on a tight rope wasn't good for the morals at the compound either, you knew that's why Bucky and Steve were training so much together and Nat was trying to handle things with Fury. It's also by you hung out in the lab instead of with Bucky, you needed to make sure your dad would stay in the right mind space after everything that had happened.

Pepper opened the lab door holding a few files in a white suit, she handed you and Tony both a file before resting against the counter and looking at the hologram.

"The state department was a statement issued on Sokovia." She looked between you and Tony.

"Tell them I'm busy." Tony waved the hologram away and handed Pepper the file back.

"They are here now for it." Pepper put her foot out. "There are news reporters all over the lawn Tony you can't ignore this anymore."
