"Jesus, mate!" Aiden exclaims as Noah barges past him to claim the toilet. To be fair to the guy, he did shotgun it.

I let out a chuckle and Aiden's eyes lock onto me, narrowed into almost little slits. "Shut it, Kayden."

"Ooh, he's brought out the full name. I'm shitting it," I joke, holding my hand over my heart, Peach's phone in the other.

Peach. Taysie. Whatever the hell to call her. I swear to God that I've never seen a girl that stunning before. From her dark brown curls to her bright blue eyes, she's gorgeous but she's a right pain in my arse. Honestly, no one has ever gotten under my skin as she has.

From the moment we met in the car park, I knew she wasn't going to be like all the other girls and try to throw herself at me. For one, she stands up for herself and that isn't something that I come across a lot. I don't know what it is, but we just can't seem to get along. She says one thing and I can't help but make a snarky comment and vice versa. I don't know what to do.

Yes, I, Kayden Forrester, am admitting that I have no idea what to do with a girl.

"So, Kade," Theo's voice brings me out of my thoughts. "What's going on with you and Taysie?"

I shake my head. "Absolutely nothing," I tell him honestly. "I swear to God, she pisses me right off. I don't know what's happening."

"What was it that Grandma Jones always says?" Aiden pretends to muse. "Ah, yes. 'The one for my dear Kayden will be the one who doesn't put up with his shit.'"

I flip him off and shake my head. "But we all know Grandma Jones is barmy. She told Dad he was going to get bitten by a rabid animal."

"And the following day he got bitten by that dog," Noah says with a shrug. It was my neighbour's chihuahua and it definitely wasn't rabid. "Grandma Jones is my role model."

"That explains everything," Aiden laughs before looking me up and down. "Dude, you're wearing a colour that isn't black."

I shrug, looking down at my white t-shirt, blue denim shorts and Converse. "It's the summer and we're at a festival. I can't exactly go around in my normal attire."
