"I need to tell Nate."

All of their eyes turn to me, Kade looking especially spooked. Not that I blame him. "Really? Do we?"

I nod with a sigh, really not knowing how it's going to go down. I've already left it too long, even though it only happened last night and I'm actually yet to see him today. "Yeah. I can't have him find out about us from social media or anything. It needs to come from me. Well, us."

Immediately, he starts shaking his head, looking really spooked now. "No, no, no. He's your brother. I'll face him after, thank you very much. You tell him, then I'll seek out the possibility of getting punched. We're not doing it at the same time."

"You're such an arse," I glare at him. "I can't believe you're making me do this alone. Boyfriend of the year award obviously goes to you."

He chooses to ignore my sarcasm as he looks at me with a grin. Asshole. "Thanks, babe. Love you, too."

"Piss off." With a deep breath, I stand up and pull the bottom of Kade's hoodie over my butt. "Well, I'll see you guys on the other side."

Ella's eyebrows raise in question. "Wait, you're going now?"

I nod. "Yeah. No time like the present and all that."

As I tuck my phone into my back pocket, Kade stands up and comes over to me, cupping my face in his hands as he looks down at me, worry written all over his face. "In all seriousness, do you want me to be there with you? Because I will sacrifice my stellar good looks for you."

An amused smile graces my lips as I shake my head. Even when I'm feeling as nervous as I do right now, he manages to make me smile. "No, you're right. It would probably just make it worse. I'll talk to him and we'll see how he is tonight."

"I love you so much," he murmurs, his forehead dropping onto mine.

"I love you, too," I reply, grasping each side of his t-shirt in my fists as he places a sweet kiss on my lips. "I'll see you in a minute."

And with that, ignoring all the groans from the rest of them at our affection, I duck off the bus and head across the car park to the Merry Band of Idiot's bus. Pulling open the door, I call out, "Is everyone decent? I'm coming in!"
