"Thomas?" The curly-headed woman asked, looking at the handsome man standing down the hallway. She was on her way out of the apartment complex she lived in, heading to the coffee shop that was on the corner of the street she lived on.
"Angelica!" The man exclaimed. Grinning at the woman he made his way to her. Au
"It is you." Angelica said."It's been a minute."
It had been more like a decade since they last saw each other. The pair had gone to high school together and they had been best friends but when senior year had finished she and her family had moved away and she never heard from him again.
"Yeah, it has." Thomas laughed pulling her into a hug. She gladly returned it wrapping her arms around his toned body. They let go of each other and he smiled at her.
"I'm heading to the coffee shop down the street wanna come along?" She offered hoping he'd say yes, they had so much catching up to do
"That sounds lovely." He said and she was a little more excited than she should be. But truth be told she had always had a big crush on him. How could she not? He had been tall back then and even taller now, he had worn his hair in cornrows and he had been a basketball player.
Basically, any high school girl's dream man.
But not only had he been literally perfect in the looks department he had a great personality. When she had known him he had been a bit closed off, but she remembered that he had always let her in. She had gotten to know him and realized he was actually really funny and sensitive and that had made her like him even more.
"Shall we?" He asked holding out his arm and she linked her arm onto his.
They head to the coffee shop not knowing that this is the start of a relationship they both longed for so badly.
A/N: Man this is old and short but I'm working on something and I thought I'd post this since there is no sadness in it.
