Two years after the wedding:
Busan, South Korea.
It was raining buckets over the prosperous town of Busan. And a hundred or so miles into the middle of the woods surrounding the town, a lone house glowed with the lights amidst the dimness of the evening.
In the warm living room sat the gray-haired vampire on the carpeted floor with a dark-haired child in his lap beside him sat his blonde-haired brother as they played Mario kart.
The brothers both yelled and argued while the little dark-haired one-year-old in Jimin's lap was enjoying it, yelling with his father, his huge doe eyes wandering between his father, his uncle, and the TV screen.
The little voice that had only learned to speak was trying to keep up and cheer on his father making Jimin ecstatic.
"Yes! I won." Jimin yelled, laughing as he stuck his tongue at Taehyung, who waved his hand dismissively and said, "I let you win because I feel bad that you can't play."
"Then who has been losing since morning?" Jimin answered back with a smile as he lifted the little kid, adjusting his clothes.
"Brother just because you recently started playing doesn't mean you will start underestimating the pro gamers." Taehyung bragged.
"Huh? You? A pro gamer? Pfft." Jimin laughed bending over as he placed the console on the floor and holding little Hyun carefully under his arm got up.
Who was looking up at Jimin with innocent eyes wide in wonder, lips curling up gently in a smile. He liked it when Jimin laughed.
Taehyung was right when he said that they had only recently started playing video games after Jungkook had called him old and boring.
No, Jungkook hadn't called him old but a boomer and boring. The funny thing was Jimin hadn't known what a boomer meant and had to search online.
The three-hundred-something-old vampire mentally even stuck out his tongue at Jungkook, now, because that was the most he could do.
In the end, Jungkook wasn't here so no matter how much the vampire wanted to brag about his skills he could only mentally add it to the awfully long list of things to do when Jungkook came home from his hunt.
Jungkook had left two days ago with Hoseok. And was supposed to come back today. But it was almost noon and the protective and paranoid vampire was starting to get anxious but he was good at covering it up.
"Is Hyun hungry?" Jimin inquired of little Hyun Jung who was slightly sleepy. The little guy placed his head on Jimin's shoulder the silky brown hair brushing against Jimin's neck as the baby inquired, "Appa?"
"Appa is coming, he is on his way home right now. Till then let's eat something, yeah? Tell papa what you want to eat?" Jimin asked as he placed Hyun in his baby chair.
Hyun was silent as he thought and processed his father's words, little plump lips scrunched in a thoughtful pout, he asked, "Eye' ce'?"
Jimin laughed, "No not ice cream. How about some soup?"
"'Oup" The kid repeated, nodding as the vampire got to work.
Taehyung also wandered into the kitchen and sat down, watching his brother who didn't need food to live, cook with precision, "how long has it been since I last saw you? A year?"
"It's been three years." Jimin replied, focusing on chopping vegetables, "When I last saw you, was the day after my wedding. Wasn't it when you told me about your decision of going to China?" Jimin put the vegetables in the boiling pan of water before turning to Taehyung, "Why are you asking?" Jimin's frown deepened, he wouldn't be lying when he said he had been a little upset with his brother's decision.
