not really unique in my opinion! It doesn't really speak out to me but it's still cute nonetheless!

cover:
I LIKE THE AESTHETIC! however, i don't think it really helps the reader understand what your book is trying to convey. it's readable, but kind of bland. It doesn't scream 'vampire au' to me.

title & cover: 8.25/10

blurb: 10/10
this description is AMAZING!! i love the little hook you added! the rhetorical questions are killer and useful when trying to draw a reader in. it also doesn't give away too much of the plot!

first impression: 10/10 the first line immediately drew me in. LIKE WOW YOU KNOW HOW TO DRAW A READER IN!! GOD this prologue, i can't even commend you enough for how damn interesting it was! and, it connected the title to the story immediately! i love the suspenseful vibes!

plot: 19/20
the vampire x vampire hunter trope is nothing unique but you really made it so interesting and different! jimin's internalized self-hatred from being a vampire and not wanting to hurt others, but because he's a vampire everyone thinks of him that really made him more relatable as a character.

i definitely felt like there were some 'enemies to lovers' undertones going on as well!

them hating each other (but still having an unexplainable fondness) towards each other was also very realistic i'd say if you just found out someone who you were supposed to kill was your soulmate! WATCHING JIMIN MAKE ALL THOSE SACRIFICES to protect jungkook because he swore to not hurt any more humans was also understandable, and i just really love how everything fit together.

I DONT WANT TO SPOIL EVERYTHING BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLOT and the super fun twist on the vampire x vampire hunter trope. (especially the pacing of how they became more and more fond of each other UGH i love it <33)

i'm also a sucker for 'i love you's' during tragic ass moments LMFAO!

the resurrection part was slightly confusing BUT i prefer it over death any day.

character development & emotions: 15/15

this book did an amazing job with developing the main characters (jungkook & jimin). in my opinion, nothing seemed too rushed, and their 'enemies' stage was understandable. for being packed into 17 chapters, the author did a great job with the pacing of the story and really focusing on developing jikook's relationships with each other.

yes, it did take a very unfortunate series of events to get jimin to understand how much he REALLY cared about jungkook, but sometimes the extra push is needed (although we could all see his liking towards jungkook from the start).

since the story tackles being a whole ass VAMPIRE, tragic and scary things are going to happen, and you don't shy away from using dramatic emotional responses to convey that.

overall, i think it was great!

grammar and vocabulary: 13/15

in the start of the book you had a tendency to use a lot of 'and's when you could just use a comma! there are also some unintentiona spelling mistakes, letter accents issues, and capitalization errors (but that could be easily fixed with some proofreading and good ol' grammarly.

your usage and knowledge of vocabulary is great though!

structure and writing style: 9.5/10

YES. can i just say that your writing style is so beautiful?!?! cries. the metaphors and personifications are my FAVORITES since you write them so well, but you don't flood the entire story with them. you also make sure to explain things that the reader may not catch onto immediately (but with a subtleness that doesn't make the book seem like a dictionary LOL!) sometimes i wish there was a litttlee more dialogue (but that's just me being picky!)

overall enjoyment: 10/10

this book was an amazing read and a fun way to pass time! i appreciated how you stepped out of your comfort zone to write the smut at the end (it was really good by the way)! it's so hard to find interesting reads nowadays... and i hope your book receives more love in the future since it's so damn GOOD! seriously! i can sense the effort you put into your craft and it really transformed the story. great job!
