Maura and I were called out to homicide that was a young man who resembled our brother, Tommy. Before we approached the body, "Jane its not him, he doesn't have Tommy's birthmark on his forearm."
I could tell this shook up Jane, but she continued with the scene as a pro. My teammates made sure I was okay. Korsak made me and Frost give notice to his family and to find out about him as much as we could. I called Frankie and told him to meet Frost and myself at the Daily Robber at 11:30 for lunch. We were going to compare notes. Frankie said,"Jane I know you were spooked when you saw him, so was I. After all, it,could of been him. Frankie relayed to Frost and I the witnesses names and what they saw. Frost chimes in, we found out he was a student at the community college, worked at a dive that your brother frequents. Jane has a nasty feeling that they were after Tommy not this guy. His parents said there son was in the drug scene heavily, but has been clean for the last several years. They didn't care for him a bartender at his job but knew their son was looking for employment but difficult with his rap sheet." "Frankie we need to catch Tommy arrest him to keep him safe. When the killer realizes he killed the wrong guy, they are going to keep looking for him until they succeed. " "Jane, I am actually done with my shift, I will go by some of his hangouts. I will be careful." Jane said, I am going to put out a bola out on him stating a person of interest. "
Frankie barely missed him at the fifth place he looked at. Frankie calls Jane, " Jane add this info. Tommy wearing tan half boots, navy blue zip up, gray t shirt and a cubs baseball cap. He is around the downtown district by crack alley. I am going to keep looking for him."
Jane went to the basement to see if Maura could tell me about Tommy's look alike. "Jane he had no drugs in his system. His parents were correct. He had been clean for a long time. The final blow came from a pipe green wrench. You don't see too many of those. They are usually red or have no paint and have the dark brown metal hue to it. This wrench with paint we pulled from his hair was from the 1960's.Jane please be careful, I know this hits more ways than one to home." "Maura I promise I will, I will have Frost with me. Frankie barely missed him. I added his clothing attire to the bola. Frankie still looking for him."
In the meantime, Frost and I went to my parents home with a search warrant to look for the green pipe wrench. When Maura describe the pattern on the wrench, I knew it was my PA's. Frost was greeted by MA. "Hello Barry let me get you some snicker doodles." "MA where is PA at?" " You just missed him. He got a call to go to Flaherty's pub." " MA here is my address, pack a bag for a few days. Here is a key to my place. Don't make any contact with PA. He is wanted in a homicide as a person of interest. Hurry up MA, we will wait til you leave." " Korsak MA gave me the address he was heading to Flaherty's Pub. As soon as I know MA is out of the house and drives away, Frost and I will meet you." Frost and I arrive at the pub. We enter the pub, PA knows its official with Frost being with me. "PA why just tell me why, he is your own flesh and blood. PA MA is safe and will not be home anymore.  I told her you are a person of interest in a homicide. Once she finds out,  it was you that killed the look a like, she will finally turn her back on you.  I tried supporting you all and I struggled to but to kill one of us. I will not support.  Frost go ahead. I  kept my gun drawn as well as Korsak. Frankie found Tommy. They arrived as Frost was reading him his rights and cuff.  Tommy is crying, "I know I mess up, but to kill me. I hate you, you are no longer my father." Tommy spits at our PA. PA is yelling at Tommy, "you caused me to go this far. I  was losing my angel because of you. My only regret is I got the wrong guy." Frankie says, "no PA you started losing MA a little at a time, coming home drunk,  your cheating self and being a jerk to us all. You deserve everything you get. Frost please remove this asshole of a man out of our faces." Tommy looks at Jane and I. "I can't believe I pushed PA this far. I know I stole cash, sold their belongings but to want me dead. Jane and Frankie please have MA meet us at the rehab so I can see and apologize to MA. I will stay there, get cleaned up.  I know I will have set backs, but I pray they are short and no one dies because of my poor judgement. " Jane hugged and kissed Tommy's cheek. Rizzoli siblings hugged one another awhile and each one cried. " Korsak please get MA from my place and bring her to Boston Second Chance."
Tommy,  Frankie and I went in Tommy's truck.  We waited for our MA to arrive so MA and Tommy could have their moment together.  Frankie, Korsak and I stepped aside to give them some privacy. We all one Rizzoli hug and told Tommy we would be here for him and we haven't given up on him. Frankie went and got MA from my place because he knew I, was going to fall apart and MA didn't need that.  "MA Maura will be by my side.  Give me a few days and us three will have dinner and talk this all over and move forward.  MA I LOVE YOU." We hugged and kissed.  Korsak drove us back to the station. I wasn't done with PA. Korsak just reassured me that he wasn't go to get out. I went to lock up and made sure I left my gun locked in my desk  I went to lock up to have my final conversation with my PA."PA when MA serves you divorce papers,  you sign them without giving her a guilt trip or anything else. We all know how low you can go. We will be selling your business and the house so MA can have new start and make better memories with all of her children. Tommy is in rehab to get clean and straighten his life. As soon as the house and your business is sold,  you will no longer be in any of our lives. If and when you get out and you try to contact anyone of us, I  will make your life miserable as you have done to us.  Thank goodness we have MA as our mother who loves us even with our short comings. She doesn't give up on us. "

YOU ARE A LADY NOT A MAN IN A MAN WORLD AND JOB. YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ANYTHING OF YOURSELF BUT A LOW LIFE DETECTIVE WHO IS EGOCENTRIC.  NOW, YOU CAN LEAVE. I ONLY HAVE ONE CHILD AND THAT IS FRANKIE."

Jane came to see me in my office. I  opened my arms and she just cried until she had no more tears to release. She fell asleep on my lap. Susie and Dr. Samuel's heard what occurred and finished Tommy's look alike autopsy for me.
Frankie got a wind of what PA said to me. Frankie went to lock up with MA. MA had been working on divorce papers since we both moved out unbeknownst to us. Frankie said, "You have no more children and soon no wife. Just sign the divorce papers. " MA said, " FRANCISCO I WAS PLANNING ON DIVORCING YOU BUT YOUR ACTIONS JUST MADE ME FINISH UP THE PAPERWORK TODAY.  THESE ARE THE PAPERS,  SIGN THEM NOW!" PA signed the documents. He knew he lost all of our respects and love and had no more Rizzoli's to love him. PA was transferred to Boston Penitentiary. Later that week, we all notified he hung himself. We had a small funeral for him and said goos bye. MA cried for days but soon moved forward. The plumbing business and house being sold gave MA a nice nest egg. She chose to buy a two bedroom condo in a senior citizen gated community.  She started making new friends and was alot happier.
