I left Jane a note telling her I took her jeep to get groceries for the week and will return with coffee and breakfast. I had picked up some brushes, canvases and oils and other paint supplies. I know when she is unsure or has regrets, she likes to paint. I woke up and saw Maura's note. I had the background basically done. I was liking how the piece was coming out. I was hoping to finish it before the week was over. Maura could leave it here or take it to her work or home. Maura kissed my cheek and set the outside table. I finished grilling and set our food on our plates with ice tea. We ate our food.
