Meeting new people

Jane gets ready for Joey to pick her up with his girlfriend.
Joey introduces them and Jane realizes this is his future wife. She is happy he found a good lady.
JANE IS IN THE BACK OF JOEY'S NEW SUV. HE TRADED IT IN FOR THE SUV. JOEY WAS HAPPY TO BE A SOON DADDY. WE ARE ALL GETTING ALONG AND LAUGHING. MAURA CALLS ME TO TELL ME SHE HAS TO GO IN DUE TO A PILE UP.  JANE IS SAYING BY BUT HASN'T HUNG UP YET WHEN A FORD TRUCK RUNS A RED LIGHT AND HITS THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE SUV. MAURA HASN'T HUNG UP YET,  WHEN SHE HEARS A LADY SCREAM AND HEARS THE IMPACT.   JANE STILL HAS HER BLUE TOOTH IN HER EAR.  MAURA CALL 911, WE HAVE BEEN HIT BY A GRAY F150 TRUCK.  WE ARE UPSIDE DOWN AND HIT AN ELECTRICAL POLE THAT IS DOWN ON US.  WE ARE ON THE 1200 BLOCK OF SHASTA STREET.   JANE PASSES OUT.  Jane uses her landline to call 911. She calls 911 than calls her boss, she is enroute to her wife's crash site. She finally hangs up and calls Frankie and Hope via conference call and relays the info.
Maura arrives with her medical bag. The electrical company just turned off that block of electricity. The paramedics get Joey and his girlfriend, Cindy, out. They are transported to the hospital. Jane cannot be moved yet, the firemen have to cut her out.  The power POLE wire transmitter is slightly embedded in her abdomen. They get her out. Maura identifies herself as a doctor. She instructs the firemen what to do. Maura sees how much blood Jane has lost. Maura still keeping her cool. Wrapping bandages around the transmitter so it doesn't move and cause her to bleed to death.  She tells the paramedics she is 4 months due, type O blood, internal bleeding and allergic to penicillin, soma, and benadryl and has asthma.  The paramedics recognize her. Dr.Isles meet us at Boston Hospital on 12th. Maura gets in her car and she is escorted by the motor bikes. Frankie, Angela and the Martin's are following Maura.  Maura parks her Suv in the doctor space and runs to the ER. She gives the team the info and waits for the medics to roll her into ER. In the meantime the family arrives. She doesn't say anything but Catherine follows her.  Maura is making an inquiry about Joey and Cindy. The clerk is not cooperative. Catherine says" this is Dr. Maura Isles ER doctor here. She cannot do the surgeries,  her fiance was in the accident too.  I'm Catherine Martin her sister and attorney."
The clerk looks up Maura name with picture. "Dr. Isles Joey Beckman is in surgery its touch and go. They resuscitated him once in the ambulance.  Cindy Modd was pronounced dead while they were enroute."  "please call the number listed on file with updates on Joey."

Catherine catches Maura before she falls. She is okay just distraught.  Catherine gets her some water and one of the doctor checks to make sure she is okay. "Catherine I need mom to take me up to observation deck. I will wait here for her." Hope comes with a wheel chair and pushes Maura to the observation deck."Maura I spoke to our colleagues, Joey may not make it. If he does,  he will most likely be in wheel chair and have to be fed. " "sweetie,  I am so sorry.  If I turn the intercom on you cannot say anything this could distract the surgeons. " Maura shakes her head no. Hope realizes Maura is shutting down. Hope continues to hold her and talk to her.
Maura gets a call and Hope answers it. "THIS IS DR. HOPE MARTIN,  PLEASE RELAY THE INFO TO ME SO I CAN RELAY TO DR. ISLES. " "JOEY BECKMAN DIED AT 13:15 HRS "  " Thank you "  Maura looks at Hope.  "Joey didn't make it ." Maura cries. "God please let Jane and the baby live."

Three hours later.  The surgeon sees Hope and Maura.  He goes up to the observation deck and asks all medical staff to leave.  The surgeon is Maura's boss. "Hope, Maura the baby didn't make it. JANE has a deep laceration in her abdomen, one cracked rib and had stitches on her forehead. Maura what you did on site saved her life. Her family donated blood. Do you want me or do you want to update on Jane?" "Dr. Kendrick I will. Our Babys name is Anthony Michael Rizzoli -Isles. Please make sure that is on his death certificate.  This is what his parents wanted. Please let me be the one to tell her about our son, Joey and Cindy. Thank you." " Maura you have two weeks paid.I am truly sorry for you loss." " Mom can you push me to the family so I can tell them about our child and my wife. Jane didn't want a wedding.  She only wanted Joey to be there and I did what she asked of me. We got married by Judge Fritz. "
Maura gets everyone's attention. Joey and Cindy didn't make it. Maura is in recovery with  one cracked rib,  a laceration in her abdomen and seven stitches on her forehead.  Our baby didn't make it. Jane and I got married last night with Joey as our witness by Judge Fritz.  I am going up stairs and I will be the one to disclose all the bad news.  Frankie please have Frost help you remove all the baby furniture and items except for his Sox outfit.  Please bring that here so he can be buried in it . "MAURA my sister, I am so sorry,  love you."  Thank you everyone for coming. Angela I know you want to stay but tonight my wife and I will say goodbye to our son. Please understand we need to do this alone first." " Sweetie I understand,  please give her our love. I love you sweetie.  I can officially call you my daughter even though you always felt that way to me. I love you ."
