Our families took care of the funeral services. When I get discharge, we will head off to say our good bye to our son. Our family met with Joey's family. They want Joey to be buried by his children. His family was surprised to hear that Joey had a daughter and a son. Joey never told them about Vanessa. He grieved on his own. The doctor didn't come by and Maura wasn't thrilled about that. I told her ge came last night and we talked. He said you were the reason I am still here, gave me his condolences and said alot of nice things about you. I won't repeat those are patient and doctor privilege only. I called our families along with Joey's parents and whomever they contacted to meet us at the cemetery to say our good bye to Anthony Michael Rizzoli-Isles. "
We met everyone at the cemetery. My family pastor did the service for us and said a special blessing for us all. We left and went home. My MA stayed with us for several days to help us out which I was grateful. Frankie repainted the room. Maura and I picked out new bedroom furniture. Frankie and the guys and gals from our two departments at the Boston PD donated my furniture to a newly married PD couple who wrote us a lovely thank you and condolence card. We had a rough few weeks. Susie came by to check on us and later me along with Samuel's to change my dressings and bring me good food to eat with them. Our families took turns staying with us. Right now Hope is here and we are working on her gun skills. Frost and Frankie have taken her to the range. They reported she is doing well. Hope is done with her hands on training and now just has to keep going. Maura and I have gone with her a few times. Maura and her shoot together while I watch. My two pupils are doing well even their mother daughter bond has grown. "Babe mom is taking us out to a new sushi place for lunch. " We say our good byes and head home. Our sister, Rachelle, is coming by to meet us. Maura made me promise not to scare him too much. Rachelle introduces Gregory Hills to us. They met at a cooking event. Tonight they made us Greek food. I love the baklava. We had a nice chat and I like this boy for our sister but wont tell them that. I told Gregory if he hurts my sister he better run far out of thr country so he has a better chance of me not catching him and torturing him. Maura and I change for bed, converse, kiss one anothers forehead and nod off.
