Maura and I got up and got dressed into our jogging clothes. It was easy for Jane. She just had to add a bra, socks and tennis. I got dressed and we took two bottles of water with us. We jogged just nearby our cabin for about 2hrs...60 minutes one way. "Maura just changed into some jeans only. After lunch, I booked us two lanes at the indoor our door range. Jane drove us. Maura and I ran into her ex here. "Maura just ignore him. We didn't come to socialize. I want you to get comfortable again. I know the shooting rattled you. I need you to be comfortable again. We never know what the future holds for us." Maura nodded.

Her jerk of an ex saw her stance. I noticed he was getting closer to Maura. I was having her practice drills that varied for each target.

I believe her last target scared him away which is good. Maura was able to get her confidence back. I asked her, "why were you more focused on your last target than the others?" "I saw my ex approaching me while I was loading my bullets in my magazine. His smirk on his face irritated me. So I imagined the yellow target was his face." "Maura that is scary but it worked. Let's pay for our fees and head back." We took showers and made a fruit salad for dinner with, bell peppers, mushrooms, chicken and shrimp kabobs with a dark beer. Maura asked me a little more about my childhood. We laughed and teased one another while cleaning up from dinner. We made a rootbeer floats and sat on the deck watching the sunset. Once the sun set, it got nippy so We went inside and cleaned our glasses and silverware. Maura wanted to watch a movie in bed with the fire place on. We watched two comedies with Sandler in it before nodding off. Maura woke me up. She was hitting me in her sleep. She was fighting some man in her sleep. I woke her up. "Jane what happened to your eye, its turning a little black?" "Maura just wait here, I am going to use the restroom, get us some water and an ice pack for my eye. Please get me a finger tip towel while I am gone." I returned and handed her the two unopened bottle of waters. I climbed back into bag and wrapped the ice pack in the finger tip towel. "Jane how did you get that black eye?" "If I tell you, don't get mad. Maura you were sleeping. I woke up because you were fighting in your sleep." "Jane I am so sorry. Let me see." Maura straddled and just stayed like that for awhile holding onto the ice pack. Maura finally stopped straddling me and leaned her head on me but kissed my forehand first. Jane finally fell asleep. I recalled my dream. I was angry with my ex who I keep seeing lately and it was him I thought I was hitting in my sleep. I didn't realize I was hitting Jane. My poor Jane I hurt because of my anger of the intruders and because of my ex. I finally nodded off too.
