Pinalabas na ko ng ospital and as usual wala man lang kahit isang dalaw si William...

Sanay na rin naman ako sa daily attitude niya.

Nasa ospital ako ngayon at currently nakatayo sa office ni Dr. Ferrer; he called me for the results.

Hindi ko kaya ang sasabihin ni Dr. Ferrer kaya halos ilang minuto na kong nakatayo sa harapan ng pinto.

I knocked continously to his office's door and hold the door knob.

I catch a deep breath as I slowly rotate the knob.

Nakita ko si Dr. Ferrer na nakangiti sa akin as I enter his office.

Meron pa ata siyang pinipirmahang medical records ng pasyente.

"Nakakaistorbo ba ko Doc?", tanong ko sa kanya habang nakangiti.

I am wearing a red short sleeve sequin dress. Kagagaling ko rin kasi sa boutique ko so ganito ang dress ko.

"No! Your just in time kalalabas lang ng results so take a seat!", sabi niya habang nakaturo ang isang comfy single sofa.

"Doc, I want you to be directly say what the result was; ayoko nang pahirapan pa ang sarili ko", sagot ko sa kanya habang palapit sa akin.

"Marielle, your cancer is already on its final phase"

"What do you mean final phase?", tanong ko sa kanya ng may kaba.

"Marielle, kahit anong treatment natin sa cancer mo, it will just reject by your body; bumagsak na ang immune system mo at baka makasama sa iyo ang pagtetreatment especially chemotheraphy and radiation treatment so nung tinawagan mo ko na you will having a treatment I was very glad pero dahil sa resulta we can't take the risks"

I just smiled at him. Ganun pala so it's too late.

Tinawagan ko kasi si Dr. Ferrer na I will having a treatment pero dahil sa sinabi niya mukhang hindi na pwede.
