I hate everything about this except the ending. I apologize.

"We left Jesse a note, get some rest." "Will do." Aurora gave one last smile to Jamie, before the door to the theater shut and the clang of the door could be heard from the other side. Aurora then turned looking to Ellie who still had that same faraway look on her face while she stared down at the map.

"What's the plan?" Aurora asked, coming up to Ellie's side looking down at the map. "If we follow route five, that should take us to the hospital." "Alrighty sounds good. You okay?" Aurora examined Ellie's face but she only nodded tucking the map away. "I told you I'm fine." Aurora shrugged and turned away smiling walking down the road. "Follow route five, track down Nora, get her to tell us where Abby is, that sounds super easy." Aurora spoke in a sarcastic tone turning around to smile at Ellie. "Well when you put it like that..." She smiled back jogging to catch up with Aurora. They walked past the side of the theater reaching a large checkpoint gate with a turnstile door in front. Ellie leaned up against it realizing how hard it was to push she nodded for Aurora to help. They both pushed enough to reach the other side through a crack slipping through.

"I wonder if Dina's having a boy or girl." Aurora thought out loud following Ellie to an area where the roof of the checkpoint wasn't there. She climbed onto a crate then turned to Aurora, "What do you think?" Ellie then jumped climbing over the cage walls in front of a quick-mart door landing with ease. "Um, I'm gonna go with my gut and say..." She trailed off climbing onto the same crate Ellie had then jumped falling over the wall landing on her feet stumbling a bit. "Boy." "You think it's a boy?" "Yep, my gut is never wrong. Watch me regret saying that." Ellie laughed walking into the store looking around. "You're good at those things." Aurora followed behind looking around. "Think so?" Ellie nodded a bit walking to a broken window.

"You felt it before we blew up. You also felt it before we were attacked in the TV station. Your psychic." Aurora laughed, climbing behind Ellie through the broken window onto the street. "Progress." Aurora smiled walking out to the street looking around at the buildings. "Seattle is very pretty despite all the hell that lives inside it." Ellie didn't respond, just continued following Aurora watching as she looked around at each shop. "I prefer Jackson though. It has more of a countryside feel. I like the country. And sheep." Ellie chuckled looking over to Aurora who still stared up at the tall buildings. "Could you imagine living at like, the highest floor. That would be so cool. Scary though." "I could see you spending all day at a window." "I would."

They continued running down the street reaching another gate, Ellie ran forward trying to door but to no avail. "We can hop the gate." Ellie silently agreed running over to the gate climbing onto a dumpster then using her strength to jump over landing on her feet. Aurora copied her movements but stumbled a bit when landing, grabbing Ellie's shoulders for support. "I'm getting better at that." She stated raising her eyebrows. "Eh, I could disagree." Aurora playfully slapped her shoulder running over to another door that was built into the cement wall only to find it locked. "Shit." "I'll boost you." Ellie leaned her back against the cement wall putting her hands onto her thigh bending her knees a bit.

"Okay this has to suck boosting me all the time." Ellie shrugged then smirked. "I get a good view." Aurora scoffed, placing her foot in Ellie's hands, "I can't stand you sometimes." "Mhm." Ellie pushed her up a bit allowing Aurora to stand on her shoulders before Aurora finally lifted herself over falling onto the other side. She landed in a crouched position before falling on her butt giggling to herself. "You okay?" Aurora stood up wiping her butt off walking over to the door. "I'm great at landing, I have excellent skills." Ellie crossed her arms, Aurora unlocked the door then pulled it open bowing with a hand across her torso and one outstretched. "Ta da!" "Nice." Ellie clapped walking in allowing Aurora to close the door behind them locking it. "Just in case."
