BEFORE YOU HATE ME READ THE NEXT CHAPTER YOU WILL HATE ME LESS! (I hope)
Aurora stood at the sink scrubbing a plate with her sponge looking up and out of the window from time to time. "Rora!" "In the kitchen!" She heard her voice from upstairs turning back down at the plate in her hands. The house was quiet, peaceful, the sunset setting over the house. Ellie walked into the kitchen pushing some hair behind her ear coming up behind Aurora wrapping her arms around her waist.
"Well hello there." Aurora laughed, rinsing some bubbles off her hand, Ellie's face burrowing into Aurora's neck. "Did you make the bed?" Aurora asked, putting her wet hands over Ellie's cold ones. "Well...I got distracted and then forgot." Aurora scoffed trying to hide the smile on her face. "You were literally just upstairs, how did you forget?" "Stop asking me hard questions. Thanks for doing the dishes." Aurora laughed leaning back into Ellie's body. "Put some music on then I'll think about forgiving you for your awful memory." Ellie chuckled, Aurora could feel her shoulders bounce. She gave Aurora a kiss on the jaw then pulled away backing up into the dining room. "I'll see what I can do."
"I've gotta hang the laundry after this and you need to get your dirty clothes from the bathroom so I can wash them." "Ugh, quiet reminding me. You are so lame." Aurora smiled, rolling her eyes continuing to wash the dishes, grabbing an old mug out of the sink scrubbing it with the sponge she'd dropped. The music began, one of Aurora's favorite songs. "Hell yeah!" Aurora laughed rinsing the mug off putting it into the dish drainer. "See? Do you forgive me now?" Aurora pretended to think laughing when Ellie came up pulling her away from the sink. "Eh, I'll see what I can do." Ellie grabbed her hips spinning Aurora around the kitchen hearing a squeal escape her. "Ellie!" "Oh c'mon, let's dance you've been cleaning like all day." "Because someone else I know doesn't."
"Hey, I harvested tomato's earlier." Aurora smirked, grabbing her hands, "Oh, right. Totally forgot." Ellie scoffed, spinning Aurora back towards her moving so that they were dancing against each other. "Why don't you dance like this at the parties in Jackson. You'd be a real hit." Ellie sarcastically laughed backing up to watch Aurora turn around still swaying her hips to the music. "I'd look like an idiot." Aurora threw her head back laughing. "No you would not! You just think you would. I think you'd look hot." "Says you." Ellie ran up putting her hands on Aurora's sides tickling her. "Ellie! S-stop! I can't b-breathe!" Aurora choked out tears forming in her eyes from laughing. "You brought this on yourself."
"I wasn't lying though." Aurora wiggled out of her arms running around behind Ellie who turned around smiling. "You would look hot!" "Mhm, you're weird." Ellie stalked up to her grabbing her hips looking down at her. "So I've been told." Ellie kissed from her jaw and down her neck making Aurora giggle pulling away from her. "Stop it! You're distracting me from my work. Just because you're not doing yours doesn't mean I'm not doing mine." Aurora gave her a soft kiss on the lips before pulling back smiling at her before walking back to the sink continuing her job. "Oh, shit." Ellie leaned against the counter looking up at Aurora. "Yeah?" "The winds picked up pretty bad. We should get out there and get the sheep in the barn. I need to get the laundry too." Aurora grabbed a rag wiping her wet hands onto the cloth before heading to the backdoor.
She picked up the laundry basket sliding it onto her hip before pushing the backdoor open entering the yard. "Tomorrow we are not doing all this cleaning shit." Ellie groaned, shutting the screen door behind them. "That depends on if you get the cleaning done today! Get it done and then your free, it's how it works El." Aurora set the basket down next to the laundry tub and clothes that hung on the strings. "Ugh, I hate how it works." "I know, you complain about it every time we clean." Aurora began scrubbing a shirt that laid in the tub feeling Ellie come up behind her once again rocking them both back and forth. Aurora put her head over giving Ellie access to her neck which she gladly took, peppering light kisses on her skin.
