As they went inside, they saw people working meticulously which clearly indicated that it was an office.
" What are we doing here?" Prachi whispered.
" Keep patience. You will know everything." he smiled.
He took her to a cabin, pausing to knock before entering.
Three persons were sitting there, discussing something. They looked up when Ranbir and Prachi entered.

"Hi dad, chief and uncle. She is the girl I was talking about." Ranbir greeted them and introduced Prachi.
"Hey Prachi! How are you?" Abhi smiled as soon as he recognized her.
"I'm fine, sir." she replied.
"Do you know her too?" Purab asked.
"We have met before." Abhi informed.
"So Prachi, what kind of job do you prefer to do in our company?" Vikram asked seriously.
Prachi was taken aback by the question. Was it an interview? She was not prepared!
Prachi glared at Ranbir who merely grinned.
"Prachi?" Vikram prompted getting no response.
"Uhh.....I....I'm in the search of a part time job. I have worked as a PA earlier." she replied.
After a few more questions and answers, Vikram asked Prachi to wait outside.
"What have you decided?" Ranbir asked hopefully.
"I think she is really smart and eligible." Abhi said.
"I hold the same views too." Purab agreed.
Vikram was thinking something and did not reply.
"Dad?" Ranbir asked.
"Hmm.....Prachi is undoubtedly talented. But, I have a condition to recruit her." Vikram answered.
" What condition?" Ranbir questioned.
"You will have to join the office too." Vikram laid the condition.
"What! Why?" Ranbir cried out.
"There is no post available in our office currently. If you join, you will need a PA and Prachi can be appointed." he explained.
"Is there no other alternative? Why are you trapping me? I have not reached the age to work. Now it's my time for playing and enjoying." Ranbir said with a cry-baby face.
"Don't give excuses. Learn something from your friends at least. That girl is of your age and she is so focused and hard-working and look at you. Now everything is upto you. If you agree, Prachi gets her job and if you want to relax, then........."
Ranbir looked outside once. How could he say no after seeing the earnest and hopeful face of Prachi?
"Okay. I agree." Ranbir replied with a sigh.
Prachi was called in. She got tensed seeing the somber expression on everyone's face.
"Prachi, we have decided that........" Vikram started.
"You have been appointed for the job!" Ranbir's voice boomed in between as he could not control his excitement.
"What!?" Prachi yelled in excitement.
"Yes!"
Both of them could not control their excitement and hugged each other.
Vikram, Purab and Abhi smiled seeing their beautiful bonding.
Prachi came into her senses first and moved away from Ranbir awkwardly.
"You can leave now. We will send the further details and necessary papers to you later." Abhi said.
"Thank you so much sir." Prachi thanked them and left followed by Ranbir.
A mysterious smile played across Vikram's lips as soon as they left.
"What are you smiling at like idiots?" Abhi asked him.
"Nothing. I just figured whose name to take to make Ranbir do as I say." he replied.
Both Abhi and Purab grinned at the reply.

"I heard that you are joining our business. Good Luck." Aryan said teasingly as he entered Ranbir's room.
"Don't make fun of me. One day you too will have to face this day." Ranbir said sadly.
"Wonderful feeling, isn't it? You must be excited to be a hard-working man." Aryan teased further.
"That's the problem. I don't know if I should be ecstatic that I will get to spend more time with Prachi or sad that I will have to tolerate my dad and do work." he said nodding his head sadly.
"Hmmm.......It's a great problem." Aryan agreed. "I'm lucky I don't have to face it. I'm free to enjoy my life."
"Are you trying to make me jealous?" Ranbir asked with a raised eyebrow.
Aryan shrugged in reply.
"In that case bro, you have made a mistake. Never mess with Ranbir Kohli." he smirked.
"What do you mean?" Aryan asked confusedly.
As if the answer to that question, Purab barged into the room at that moment.
"I'm so glad son. Proud of you. Don't worry, I have fulfilled your condition." Purab patted him and left.
"What was he talking about?" Aryan asked still unable to process what had happened.
"Nothing much. He congratulated you for deciding to join our business along with me." Ranbir clarified.
"What! I? When? How? And what condition?"
"Prachi asked me to help find a job for Shahana too, so I thought if I'm being trapped why should you be free? I informed Purab uncle that you are willing to join our business given the condition Shahana is your PA." he explained everything.
"YOU! Are you my brother or a devil? I'll not spare you!"
"I think I'm an angel. My cleverness made Prachi, Shahana and Purab uncle happy." Ranbir said.
A punch landed in his stomach. And thus their friendly fight began.
