EPISODE 16

When Ranbir and Aryan entered the canteen, the sight shocked them.

There were Prachi and Shahana seated at a table but Aarav was sitting with them along with some boy who had his arms encircled around Shahana.

As soon as Aarav spotted them, he ran away with the other boy. Both Ranbir and Aryan were confused. The only way to clear their confusion was to talk with Prachi and Shahana and they decided to do just that.

Ranbir: Hey,  what was that idiot doing here? Hope not bothering you. If he was, he is going to regret it.

Prachi: Oh no. He was just here to say that we have been selected for the job in his company for which we have given interview.

Ranbir: WHAT??!!  You are going to work in his company. Why?

Prachi: Actually we wanted to find a job and gave interview. We didn't knew that it was his company.

Ranbir: You don't need to work there you can join our company.

Prachi: Sorry Ranbir, but it will look unethical to leave the job just like it. Please try to understand.

After this, Ranbir had no point to argue further. But,  Shahana was extremely bewildered at Prachi's behavior.

Shahana (in mind): O God. What's happening here! I can't believe it. Prachi, my sister lying to Ranbir! Her behavior is becoming too confusing. I need to talk to her.

Shahana was so engrossed in her thoughts that she failed to notice that Aryan was staring at her the entire time.

Aryan (in mind): Where is this Shahana lost now? Is she thinking about that boy? Why on the earth was he sitting with her like that? Even I don't do it? Wait..... what if she likes him?

Aryan: Who was the other boy?

Shahana: Vicky. The cousin of Aarav.

Aryan: Why was he here?

Shahana was busy thinking of ways to unmask Aarav in front of Prachi and Aryan's questions were disturbing her. So,  she replied curtly "Why are you so concerned about it. It's none of your business. "

Shahana had said it casually but she didn't knew it had firmed Aryan's belief that she was interested in Vicky.

Prachi sensed the atmosphere getting tensed and decided to divert the topic.

Prachi: Were we not supposed to decide in which categories are we going to participate in the competition?

Ranbir: Oh yes. I completely forgot about it. OK. So, let's start with dance and singing. I can do both.

Prachi, Shahana, Aryan: Even us.

So, after a lot of discussion, they decided to enroll their names for the dance, singing and drama competition.

Ranbir: So, it's final. You both are coming to our house for practise.

Prachi: Why not in our house?

Ranbir: Miss Chikchiki use your brain. It's because ours is more spacious and we can practise without disturbing anyone.

Prachi: O hello Mr. Baklu, I use my brain better than yours.

Shahana: Now please don't start fighting again. Come on Prachi, we need to go to the library.

Saying this, Shahana literally dragged Prachi towards the library.

As soon as they departed,

Ranbir: Why do I feel that Prachi was lying to me?

Aryan: Even I feel something is not OK.

Just then, Aarav entered with Vicky.

Aarav: Hi there Mr. Showoff and his stupid brother.

Ranbir: What do you want now?

Aarav: I just wanted to see how you feel after losing to me once again.

Ranbir: Stop all these nonsense. Say it clearly if you have got the guts.

Aarav: Don't act innocent, you pretty well know by now that Prachi, whom  you are interested in, has joined my company. Soon she will join me somewhere else and you would be able to do nothing. So, it's better if you prepare yourself for it.

Ranbir: Prachi is never going to fall in your trap and I will make sure of it. Now just get lost from here.

Aarav: Cool down bro. Time will say that. For the time being, meet my cousin Vicky and for your information, he just like me and will go well with your brother Aryan.

Vicky: Pleasure to meet you Aryan. I must say your choice is good. Your friend, Shahana has gotten me to be quite interested in her.

Aryan: Just stay away from her you idiot.

Vicky: Same temper as your brother.... I like it. We will surely make a good enemies.

In the library :

Shahana: What's all these Prachi, why did you lie to Ranbir?

Prachi: I had no other option. Ranbir and Aarav have misunderstandings among them and both are my friends. If I had told the truth, Ranbir would have forbidden us to join work. At first, I need to make them friends.

Shahana: Please try to understand Prachi, that Aarav is not a good person. We should just stay away from him.

Prachi: You are biased. Maybe he was wrong earlier but now he is repenting for it. And everyone deserves a second chance.

Shahana: You are too good and innocent for this shrewd world.

Prachi: May be. But till I say, please don't say anything about it to either Ranbir or Aryan. Do it for me.

Shahana: (heaving a sigh) OK. Only for you.
