On the other hand, Rhea was furiously pacing in her room. She couldn't bear the thoughts of Ranbir staying with Prachi for two days.

"Calm down dear. Why are you spoiling your beautiful face with this tension." Alia said in her extra sweet voice.

"How can I be calm bhooji? That Prachi...... I don't want to loose Ranbir to her."

"We are Mehras and we don't loose to anyone. That middle class doesn't have the status to be with Ranbir. You are perfect for him." Alia tried to calm her down.

"But Ranbir doesn't seem to think so. All he and dad does is chant her name day and night." she complained.

"Hmm..... According to them, she is perfect. What if we prove that she isn't?"

"How?" Rhea was now fully alert.

"But, why will anyone believe Dimpy and Shaina? They are my friends after all." Rhea asked.

"People may suspect them, but Aarav isn't your friend. In fact, he should be your enemy as you are Ranbir's friend." Alia explained.

Sarita ji was not well and Prachi & Shahana were out of town, so Pragya had gone out for shopping alone. She had bought the whole grocery for the month. The bags were too heavy for her. It was difficult to find a taxi to the place where she lived from the spot. So, she decided to take a short cut.

It was a less frequented road. Ssuddenly, she heard a commotion. A few people who seemed like drunkards had surrounded a girl.

"You don't know who I am! My dad will not spare any of you if you harm me." the girl screamed.

"We aren't interesting in who you are." the men said advance dangerously towards her.

The girl was helpless and scared. Pragya knew she had to act soon. She began search for a weapon.

The men were closing around the girl. One of them had a broken glass bottle in his hand. He was about to hit her with it, when Pragya stood in front of her, effectively shielding her from any harm.

"Hey lady, move aside. Don't come in our way." one of the hooligan threatened.

"I'll not. Leave this girl else I will burn you." she said brandishing a burning log of wood.

She took a step forward to scare them and it worked.

"Looks like she is her mother....."

"Yeah! I have heard that you should never needle with an angry mother."

They ran away for their lives. Asking soon as they were gone, Prague turned towards the girl.

"Are you OK. Did they hurt you?" she questioned.
