EPISODE 34

Finally they reached the camping spot. Upon arrival, they were greeted by a man. They were surprised to see many other youngsters like them.

"Everyone please gather here." the same man clapped to gain their attention.

"Hello everyone, I'm Sumair, your instructor and guide." he introduced himself. "All of you are here to spend a two days camping trip. First of all, I would like to congratulate all of you since this camp for those students who have made their respective colleges proud. You will have to stay in those tents. A tent can accommodate three people. Go and settle yourselves quickly and meet me in half an hour." he instructed.

Ranbir and Aryan were unpacking their bags when someone peeped inside their tent.

"Umm.....Can I share this tent with you guys? All the others are full...." he said shyly.

"Yeah sure. Why not?" Ranbir said cordially.

The boy entered an kept his bag down. He was a bit introvert.

"Hi. I'm Ranbir and this is my brother Aryan." Ranbir tried to initiate a conversation to make him comfortably.

"Nice to meet you Ranbir and Aryan, I'm Rishi....Rishi Mehta."

"See the time, we have to reach in 5 minutes ." Aryan reminded.

All the three of them made their way out. They found Prachi and Shahana chatting with another girl who seemed to share the tent with them.

"Hey! Meet our new friend." Ranbir said pulling Rishi with him to introduce him to Prachi and Shahana.

"Rishi!" Prachi and Shahana exclaimed together.

"What are you doing here?" Rishi was as surprised as them.

"We won the inter-college competition. But how come you are here?" Prachi asked.

"I won a quiz contest for our college."

"You haven't changed at all......the same nerd." Shahana teased him.

"And you are the same crackhead...." Rishi laughed and pulled Shahana's cheeks. "How are you?" he asked giving a side hug to Prachi.

"Fine"

On the other hand, Ranbir and Aryan were confused as well as jealous.

"Bro, I thought that he was shy." Aryan whispered.

"Even I thought so.....and Prachi? I thought she was allergic to boys except us." Ranbir whispered back.

Ranbir was continuously fidgeting. Finally, unable to control any longer, he went to Prachi who was busy chatting with Rishi.

"You look acquaint with each other. Have you met before?" he interrupted their conversation.

"We were in the same junior college." Prachi informed.

"We are good friends too." Shahana added.

Sumair called them, so they had to go.

"Please divide yourselves in groups of two. We will trek upto the hill top today. The group which reaches first, will get a bonus. A boy and a girl makes a group. What are you waiting for? Make groups and get going." Sumair encouraged.

Everyone got busy making groups. Shahana was about to go too, when Rishi held her back.

"Is there something going on between Ranbir and Prachi?" he asked.

"I think they like each other but are too shy to confess. How did you know about it?"

"That guy, Ranbir clearly looked jealous when Prachi was talking with me. Poor guy, he doesn't knows that Prachi ties me rakhi every year." Rishi laughed.

"What are you discussing?" Aryan arrived at the spot and stood beside Shahana. He had been observing them from a discount and had seen them laughing together.

"Nothing which bothers you."

Aryan was about to reply but Prachi and Ranbir arrived.

"Have you found your team mate?" Prachi enquired.

"No. Buy I think you and Ranbir can pair up." Shahana suggested.

"But....." Prachi began

"Yeah, she is correct." Rishi supported.

"But...."

"Please chikchiki. Isn't know you aren't comfortable in any other guy, so......"

All four of them stared at Prachi with theorem best possible cute eyes and she gave up her protests.

"OK. Fine. But what about others?"

"Don't worry about this Sa ha na, I will adjust with her as my team mate." Aryan said.

"What do you mean by 'adjust' with me? Why don't you accepted the truth that you won't any other girl who would like to be the team mate of a monkey, so you are requesting me." Shahana replied angrily.

"What?" Aryan let a mockingly laughter. "I'm very handsome and any girl would die for me." he bragged. "It's just that you won't find a team mate, so I'm helping you."

"Really? Show me one girl at least." Shahana smirked. "By the way, you don't have to worry about me. Rishi can be my partner." she said holding Rishi's hand.

"No.... You will be my team mate." Aryan said snatch away Shahana's hand.

"Here's another jealous lover...." Rishi thought to himself.

"Now don't quarrel. Shahana and Aryan pair up and I will find some else." he said and went away before he got into trouble because of the two extremely jealous boys.

"Just follow me and you will be safe." Ranbir instructed Prachi.

"Why shall I follow you? I can find my own path."

"This is a trek not any exam." Ranbir pointed.

"So what?" Prachi couldn't understand his point.

"We have to climb up the hill..... It's not like a walk down the lane near your house."

"I know what a trek is." Prachi glared.

"OK then." Ranbir shrugged.

Prachi had said the truth. She could trek very well and was soon far ahead of Ranbir who was more interested in staring at her than moving forward.

Prachi turned back to see Ranbir trailing behind.

"Walk fast or we will loose." she urged him.

Ranbir was so mesmerized by Prachi calling out to him, with her long wavy hair blowing in the wind that he didn't see where he was placing his foot and as a result, slipped and fell down.

Prachi stared at him for a few minutes before break-in down into a laughter.

"You are so mean! I fell down and instead of helping me, you're are laughing." Ranbir whined with a pout.

"Sorry..... Sorry.... But you fell down so funnily that I couldn't control myself. Here, get up." she said forward her hand which Ranbir gladly took.

"Where are you lost every time? I tell you to be focused, but no.....my words seem like lecture to you."

"In you......" Ranbir spoke unconsciously but still when Prachi stared at him. "I mean in your talents. You are so talented." he covered the slip up.

Prachi was not yet fully convinced, but didn't say anything either.
