She is a selfish and greedy lady who's left you on childhood forget money.
Her beloved aunt's voice kept echoing in her mind. But, the reality seemed to be difference. As far as she knew, Prachi's mother or rathers hers too was a sweet and kind lady.
What was she to do now? Should she believe what he aunt said or go by her instincts and accept Pragya as her mother?
White she pondered on the subject, she noticed Prachi walking toward's Pragya's ward. It looked she had taken a decision. Rhea followed her silently.
"I am ready to give a chance to papa, but I still need time to accept you." she heard Prachi say.
Abhi got happy and thanked her several times.
"Rhea, don't stand at the door. Come in." Pragya called her.
"How did you know that I was standing here?" she was amazed.
"A mother can feel her child's presence." Pragya smiled.
That was it for Rhea! She made up her mind.
"I should have known that MOM." she replied.
Pragya was witty enough to catch the last word. She shed tears of joy.
Abhigya opened an arm each for their daughters and they shared a family hug. They thought their family was now happily complete, unknown to the differences between their daughters.
"Where is Shahana? We had sent her to get you." Pragya asked when they broke the hug.
"I don't know." replied Prachi and Rhea together and looked, specially glared at each other.
-----
Shahana, the girl in question was presently standing in a corner, at a little distance from the cabin. She had tears in her eyes.
Though she knew it was wrong and probably selfish of her, she couldn't stop either feeling sad at her soul sister's reunion or those traitor drops spilling out drop by drop.
A finger brushed softly on her cheeks, wiping the tears.
"Don't waste them. They are precious." a familiar masculine voice whispered softly.
"I.....I'm not crying." Shahana lied.
"Yeah.....I can see that." Aryan rolled his eyes. "If I had been in your shoes, my initial reaction would have been the same."
"How do you know what is going on in my mind?" she was surprised.
"It is normal for anyone who had only two people as her family to feel insecure when the same people find their true family back. You and Prachi were connected by the lack of families you had and now you fear that she will forget you when she has found her twin." Aryan spoke loud her thoughts.
Shahana nodded silently in affirmation.
"But you are forgetting one thing. You are more of a sister to Prachi than any one else. You hold a special place in their hearts because you are unique and no one can replace you." his each word was providing solace to her.
"I..... I didn't think of this. Thank you for the pep talk." she smiled tearily.
"Now stop crying. I don't like girls who cry as myself girlfriend." he teased to lighten the mood.
