"Rhea, I have got a perfect idea to remove Prachi from your path forever." Alia informed the next day.
"Really bhooji! How?" Rhea asked excitedly.
"If her house catches fire accidentally, then......."
"They will die bhooji! I want Prachi to be away from Ranbir not to murder her." Rhea was horrified by the idea of killing someone.
"No dear. She will be rescued in the nick of time, but she would suffer incurable burns and when she loses her beauty, Ranbir wouldn't want to be with her." Alia explained.
"Will it be right do so? Moreover, if we set fire to her house, the other occupants will be injured too. I don't want to harm them." Rhea was still not convinced.
"Of course dear. Everything is fear in love and war. Everyone uses crook to get what they want." Alia reassured.
"How are we going to set fire and prove it as an accident?" she questioned.
"That guy, Aarav has a contact with goons. He will arrange for it." Alia explained.
Rhea nodded and left. Alia checked if Rhea was indeed gone and closed the door. She dialed a number and waited for the person at the other end to pick up the call.
"Did you come up with a plan?" Aarav asked.
"Yes. Ask your goons to set fire to Prachi's house. Make sure not a single person is left alive." she ordered.
"Consider it done, but you have to half of the costs incurred." he pointed.
"I have already made the payment." Alia smirked.
-----
Rhea decided to relax at the spa with her friends to calm herself. She was being constantly troubled by the back of her mind telling her that she should not go on with the plan.
Even after spending an hour at the spa, she was not relieved. Rhea was so engrossed in thinking that she failed to notice where she was heading to. She was walking like a blind in the middle of the road. A car was approaching her at full speed. It would have hit her haven't a pair of arms grabbed her and pulled her to safety.
SMACK!
A slap from her savior was enough to bring Rhea to her senses.
"Have you gone mad? What were you doing? If you don't care about yourself, at least care about those who love you." Pragya was scolding her when Rhea hugged her.
"Nothing will happen to me. You are my savior who saves me every time." she said.
"This doesn't mean you will be careless. What if something happens to me?" Pragya asked.
"You are too strong and intelligent to let anything happen to you." Rhea smiled.
-----
"Where are you going?" Prachi and Shahana were surprised to find Sarita ji packing her bag when they returned from college.
"Rishi's mother has taken ill suddenly. Rishi and I are going to stay with her for a few days." she informed.
"This means no more taunts and rules for a few days." Shahana exclaimed happily.
"I heard that." she narrowed her eyes at her.
Pragya offered to accompany them but Sarita ji refused stating that it was unsafe to leave two young girls alone.
-----
It was a moonless night which assisted the people to carry out their unscrupulous work easily. Two men on bikes stopped before a particular house. They strained their ears for any sound that would indicate that the occupants of the house were awake.
"It's almost midnight now. I don't think anyone will be awake now." one of them whispered.
"Let's be done with this fast." the other replied.
They crept upto the backdoor of the house and broke it open soundlessly. It was eminent from they way they worked that they were habituated and expert in doing so. They tiptoed their way into the living room of the house.
"It should look like an accident." the first person reminded.
The other person found a small lamp flickering in front of the images of Gods.
"Let's light the curtain next to the lamp and pour kerosene all over the place, so that the fire spreads."
They did as they said and sneaked out just in time to save themselves from any harm. They waited for a few minutes in front of the house to make sure that the fire spread properly before leaving.
Within a few minutes, the whole house was on fire. It was almost impossible for the inmates to come out from there uninjured.
-----
"What's the commotion outside?" a man asked his wife sleepily.
"Our neighbour, Sarita ji's house have caught fire." his wife informed him.
The man woke up with a jolt. He peeped out through the window to witness the horrible scene.
"The old lady is not at home, isn't she?" he asked.
"Yes. But her tenants, those girls and their mother are probably in." she replied.
"Let's help them." he went out to help those few people who were trying to douse the fire with pails of water before the fore brigade arrived.
Help! Help! Someone get me out!
They could hear the screams from inside the house, but none of them had the courage to go inside risking their life.
