In a house, a girl was running helter-skelter and driving her mother mad, while the other was sulking in a corner.
"Ma..... Where is my file? I can't find it." shouted Prachi.
"Look behind, it's right on the table." said Pragya arriving at the spot. "Now will you sit calmly for a while? It's just a job, nothing to be must tensed about." she assured her daughter with a smile.
"I'm not tensed, just excited. It's my first job! Aarav will also be there and I'm sure to enjoy working there." Prachi said happily.
Pragya smiled looking at her daughter who was jumping with excitement like a little child. She wondered how fast time flew by and once the girl playing with dolls was now going to work. As all these thoughts crossed her mind, Pragya's eye caught the sight of the other girl in the room who was no less than her daughter. She was sitting with a weird expression on her face.
"Now what happened to you dear?" Pragya asked gently to Shahana. "If you don't feel like to join a job, you don't need to."
Shahana considered accepting the offer at once, but that meant leaving Prachi alone with that two jerks and she could not risk it.
"No maasi, I'm just nervous. What if I make a mistake?" she lied.
"I think that the sun rose from the wrong direction today. Both of you are behaving just the opposite. Prachi is excited and you are nervous. Now I'm scared if someone has done any magic on you." Pragya said jokingly to lighten the mood.
"Don't worry. I know that both of you are going to be excellent and moreover both of you are there to help each other, so no wrong can happen." she added with her usual calming smile.
Soon, both Prachi and Shahana left.
-----
"Welcome to our office Prachi." greeted Aarav as soon as Prachi stepped inside the colossal building. "Here's a small present for you." he said dramatically, bending down and handing her a bouquet of flowers.
"There was no need for this." Prachi said shyly, accepting the flowers with a slight blush.
"Of course, there is. Come, let me take you to your cabin." he extended a hand towards her.
Prachi accepted it, giggling a bit and proceeded with him.
Shahana, who was watching all the drama with a glare was about to follow them, when someone whispered in her ears.
"Don't they look beautiful together? I think they will make a perfect couple."
She turned around to see Vicky, standing inappropriately close to her.
"I thought that you didn't use your brain, now I know that you don't even have it. Prachi and Aarav are like a fairy and a monkey, totally unrelatable to each other." Shahana spat the words at his face. "And from the next time, maintain distance while talking to me."
"Come on, darling, don't be so harsh. After all, you don't have problem when Aryan or Ranbir talks with you like this."
"Dare you call me by stupid names again, I'll make sure your mouth is broken so badly that you won't be able to speak. And the matte of Ranbir and Aryan, they are my friends which you are not. I'm not as innocent as Prachi to fall in trap by your sugar coated words. It will be better if you warn your brother to stay away from her." Shahana glared fiercely at Vicky and trotted off in the direction in which Prachi had gone.
"Tch, tch, tch..... girl, you don't know whom you are messing with. So much attitude doesn't suits a girl. I'll make sure to crush it into pieces." Vicky said in a evil tone and followed her.
-----
Prachi's cabin was a small one, which was actually a part of Aarav's cabin, separated by glass walls.
Prachi was working with full concentration, when she suddenly looked up from her laptop, feeling a stare. She turned her head sideward and saw Aarav staring at her shamelessly.
"Aarav, what are you doing?" Prachi asked.
"Wondering how can someone look so beautiful, even while working?" he said cheesily.
"Oh, Aarav......... stop lying." Prachi smiled shyly.
"No, I'm not lying. It's true. There is no denying of facts and it's a fact that you are beautiful."
"I......I'm going to Xerox these files." Prachi shuttered and rushed out of the cabin.
"What is happening to me? Do I like Aarav more than a friend? Are these the symptoms of love which Shahana used to mention while watching romantic movies? What ever it is, I feel good." Prachi smiled to herself when she was alone.
-----
Ranbir was sitting in his room, thinking about Prachi. The moments he had spent with her. Her sweet smile, beautiful eyes, innocence and most importantly her beautiful heart. Yes, according to him, her heart was the most attractive thing about her. It was her fair heart that had made him fall in love with her. Many girls possessed outer beauty, but inner beauty? That's what made Prachi different from others.
"What are you thinking Ranbir?" a sweet voice penetrated his thoughts.
"Prachi! What are you doing here? When did you come?" Ranbir was happy and confused to see Prachi in front of him.
Prachi's face twisted in confusion at his words and she stared at him.
"What happened? Did I say something wrong or am I looking weird?" Ranbir asked.
Out of the blue, Prachi started shaking him hard and telling him something.
"Come to your senses Ranbir! It's not Prachi, it's me!" a male voice stated.
Prachi disappeared and Aryan was standing in place of her.
"What are you doing here and where is Prachi?" a bewildered Ranbir began searching around.
"OMG! Now you are getting hallucinations of her. I'm sure bro that this is not an infatuation. You are madly in love with her." Aryan said.
"What? I was dreaming, means Prachi is not here?" Ranbir said sadly.
"Don't worry bro, just go and propose her and then bring her as my babhi and you will be able to see her 24X7 hours." Aryan teased.
"Not a bad idea though." Ranbir said dreamily before drifting off into his utopia once again.
