On a warm summer evening after graduation, inside an extravagantly decorated wedding chapel, Lee Jeno and Jeon Jiyeon were tied together in holy matrimony in front of four hundred people, ranging from their close friends and family to the richest and most powerful members of Seoul's society, every single one dressed up to the nines.

The bride, known for her ethereal yet cold beauty, was a sight to see in white. The groom was a vision of charm, as he looked dashing in the expensive suit bought for him from Paris. The pair together held a great aura, looking as if they were able to rule the business world with just their gaze.

The long-awaited wedding of the year was a grand event, fitting the liking of the young newlyweds. The couple's families had rented out the entire hotel used for the affair to ensure that nothing disastrous would occur.

After the time-consuming ceremony, the guests were guided towards the gazebo and garden behind the hotel for the wedding reception.

The gardens were surrounded by flourishing greenery and vibrant arrangement of flowers, the strong smell of roses filled the summer air. The view of the night sky was clearer and couldn't be seen anywhere else, except for this one location.

The starry night and glowing light of the silver crescent moon hung up in the atmosphere, matching in with the bright gold lanterns that lit up the area.

The pleasant sound of the orchestra ensemble travelled through the ears of the guests, greeting them as they entered the gardens.

Spotless beige wood walkways, placed to protect the guests' heels from the dirty grass, brought everyone to elegantly decorated tables that were set up with ivory lace from Italy.

In other words, it was breathtaking.

But inside the spectacular storybook setting filled with the jingling sound of silver bells to tie the knot of marriage, there lived a pair that grimaced at it all.

"I don't care if your legs hurt like shit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs approached us, and you thought it was a good idea to stay sitting down and say 'thanks'? Lee Jeno, where the fuck is your respect?" Jiyeon reprimanded silently, her teeth gritten down into a forced smile to hide her anger.

"It just slipped my mind, there's way too many people here. How was I supposed to know he was the Minister?" Jeno attempted to defend himself, a smile similar to Jiyeon plastered on his face as well.

"That's the point, dumbass. More people means more that play along with this stupid marriage," Jiyeon explained.

"Okay, I'm sorry. He kind of looked like one of your uncles, so I didn't see the point," Jeno apologised.

Jiyeon turned her head the other way, not to look at the boy in front of her. "You're giving me a headache. Go talk to your friends, I'll talk to you later," She said before making her way to get some wine and sat down with her friends.
