"Look! Isn't the view just beautiful?" Hyesoo questioned as she stared down at the illuminated sight of the theme park. Jeno proceeded to look down at the sight after Hyesoo's statement. She was right, the sight was nothing that could be replaced, the lights shined on the ground while the moon and stars made the lights twinkle even more; it was truly an ethereal view.
But, Jeno's eyes couldn't help but trail off to a different sight. "What a beautiful sight," he said. Hyesoo turned to look at Jeno, only to realise where he was staring. Flustered, her face turned a bright shade of red. She let out an airy laugh, "Are you talking about me?" She questioned, slightly astonished. She looked away from Jeno's eyes, one more look and she'd most likely pass out from the deep stare he was giving her.
"Maybe so," Jeno chuckled, the sound of his voice assured the answer to Hyesoo's question. He was staring at her. Jeno gradually leaned in closer to Hyesoo's face before asking a question, "Can I," he asked, "Can I kiss you?"
Hyesoo looked up at him finally. Her brown orbs dazzled thanks to the help of the moon shining. She smiled, but this time it wasn't an awkward 'get-me-out-of-this-situation' smile, it was genuine and sweet. "Will this answer your question?" She asked as she slowly leaned in towards Jeno as well.
But before Jeno could say anything or even do anything, she disappeared from his sight. And then so did the ferris wheel. And then the park. Everything disappeared until there was nothing but darkness. But, that didn't last long either as Jeno opened his eyes. He jolted up from his bed, terrified at his dream.
Ok, I dreamt of Hye. She was wearing the outfit from yesterday. But, that didn't happen. Why did I dream of that happening?!
Though it may seem as if Jeno hated his imagination and his dream, his heart beating at the thought of the girl said otherwise. She really did have an effect on him, no matter what he was doing she was always on his mind. But, Jeno's been heartbroken once, a painful memory for him; something he much rather not have himself endure. The nights of crying, his drastic personality change, the emptiness he had felt wasn't a memory that Jeno wanted to return. And that's why he chose to ignore his feelings, he always does. He'd never listened to what his heart urned for, he stuck to his rational mind; the same mind that believes that he doesn't enjoy the girl's presence.
Hyesoo
Hyesoo
hey jeno!
do u wanna hangout?
yk like old times?
SeenJeno chose to ignore her. His mind went all over the place just by her message, which isn't exactly helping the boy out on his little drama monologue he was having. Instead of replying to Hyesoo, Jeno decided to text the Dreamies, asking to hang out. Though slightly perplexed at the sudden request the introverted friend of the group asked for, the Dreamies, nonetheless, agreed to all meet up at the arcade for some much needed friendship time. After all, they're still friends, best friends for a matter of fact. They could never abandon one-another.

Jeno looked down at his wrist watch as it turned its hands to show the time. It was 3 in the afternoon, the time they had all planned to meet up. However, someone was late, and that made the other boys slightly frustrated as they had to wait.
The Dreamies that were here looked up to see their final friend running up to them stopping momentarily after arriving to catch his breath. "Sorry," he said in between breaths, "I had to do something real quick before coming."
"Mark, come on!" Chenle exclaimed, "We said two-thirty. You're half an hour late," The younger boy pouted.
Mark chuckled at his dongsaeng's cuteness when he was upset, "I know, I know. I'm sorry. To make it up to you, I'll pay," the older boy said. And with that statement, Chenle's eyes brightened, he nodded and dragged Jisung inside with him. The rest of them followed along.
"So, why were you late?" Jeno questioned. He wasn't as oblivious to the real world like Chenle is, and he could sense that there was something important that Mark had to make his way out of. Mark shrugged, "A friend from the Academy asked to meet up for some advice. That's all," he said. Jeno felt as if there was something more to that, but he chose to ignore it. After all, it wasn't his business to intrude.
"Come on Nono! Hurry up!" Jaemin exclaimed, dragging Jeno by the wrist so that they wouldn't lose the group as the rest of them were already inside the building, running around the arcade, trying out different games. Jeno chuckled before following Jaemin as the both of them found their friend who looked like they were ready to compete for the Hunger Games.

"That was fun," Jisung said in between his laughs, the other Dreamies nodded towards his statement. The group had spent almost the entire afternoon at the arcade, they played all kinds of games from racing to basketball, they probably would've done all of them if only the arcade wasn't about to close. "We should definitely come back again!" Donghyuck suggested, his usual cheer in his voice, the group agreed to his statement.
"Thanks for paying for everything hyung!" Chenle said, looking at Mark. Mark shook his head and put his arms out in front of him, a sign for the others that they didn't need to express their gratitude for the elder. "It's getting late," Renjun said, looking outside at the once bright sky that had turned darker as the sun was close to setting, "I think we should all go home," he exclaimed. To his statement, the boy received many nods and sounds of agreement, all of them saying their goodbyes before parting ways with each other.
As Jeno made his way back home, the only thoughts that were on his mind were the memories of the day. He had so much fun with his friends that he had completely forgotten about Hyesoo. Well, almost completely forgotten because no matter what the boy is doing, she was always lingering on his mind. But, hanging out with his friends was enough for him to forget about his feelings and his confusion, and that's what's important. Jeno looked down at his phone as he checked the message that he had just received, assuming it was from the Dreamies' group chat, asking if everyone got home safe. But instead, someone Jeno didn't want to think about at the moment had to text him:
Hyesoo
Hyesoo
uh hi ig?
if u don't wanna hang out fine
but lmk when you're free to work on our project pls
SeenJeno read the message, but he chose to ignore it. To be quite frank, the boy didn't know how to respond to that question, so he decided to leave the girl on read. A complete idiot he is, but oh well. Jeno looked up at the sky for a second, taking in the beautiful sight of the sun setting behind the buildings and homes. After a while, the boy remembered to stop staring and continue on his journey home, though he couldn't help but take the picture of the sky out of his mind.
Beautiful, isn't it? It reminds me of you, after all.
well well well mayhaps we're finally getting somewhere
pls vote 🥺🥺🥺
