Ring Ring.

The sound of his alarm awoke Jeno from his ever so nice slumber. It was a Monday, meaning the end of the resting period and the start of work again. Jeno groaned, as he got out of bed still so evidently tired. He got dressed and made his way downstairs, in need of some food. Rubbing his eyes open, Jeno saw a note on the fridge. It was addressed to him from his parents. Jeno quickly read it, only for it to be a notice from his father that they would be out of town once again. The boy sighed, "Why'd they need to tell me that? Even if they were here, they wouldn't spend time with me," he thought.

But never fear, Jeno wouldn't have to be upset about his parents anymore as he heard the usual loud banging on his door. Jeno hurriedly grabbed a piece of bread that he had just toasted, grabbed his bag, and made his way to his front door. "Why did you bang on it? For once, I'm on time," Jeno said, chewing on his toast.

Renjun shrugged, "I thought you were going to be late," he said.

Jeno nodded, "Understandable," he exclaimed.

As the two made their entrance known in the Academy by their arrival, once again, Renjun had to detour to work on another one of his paintings. "Can't you just walk with me? Just this once?" Jeno asked.

Renjun shook his head, "It's due today! And it's missing a final piece. Without it, it wouldn't be the same," Renjun pouted towards Jeno. Jeno sighed and looked away, he waved his hand in the direction of the art studio, signalling that Renjun can go. With that, Renjun smiled and practically sprinted off into the hallway of the studio arts section of the Academy. Jeno made his way to his locker, grabbing his books. "Hey, Jeno," He heard behind him. Jeno sighed, knowing exactly who it was behind him. Obviously, it was no other than Siwoo, as usual. It was about time he told the girl to leave him alone.

Jeno turned around to face the girl, "I was wondering if you wanted to go hangout after school toda-" Siwoo asked before she got interrupted by a frustrated Jeno.

"No Siwoo," the boy exasperated, "Look, I didn't wanna say anything because I thought you might've gotten the hint by now, but I don't want to go out with you. Never have and never will," he coldly stated.

The girl felt her world shatter. I mean, she did really like Jeno, and maybe it was a bit of a stretch for her to say he liked her back. But, she did genuinely think that eventually the boy would warm up to her. Apparently, not so much.

The girl let out a small, painful 'o' before composing herself. After all, Siwoo wasn't known to be weak, but confident. "That's fine, Jeno," She said, "Sorry for bothering you." And with that, she turned around walking away from the boy. She was better than how she acted, she should've seen that Jeno wasn't interested in her, and perhaps she would have fought for him. But the girl knows better, being with Jeno wasn't her fate. And judging how Jeno looked at a certain someone, she knows who does belong with him.
