VI ~ Preparations Are Made
Percy was nervous. It wasn't that it was almost his wedding day-that part he was fine about. You know that feeling that you get when you see someone who you think that you don't want to know, but eventually they'll play an important role in your life? That's what he was feeling when he looked at the Queen of Atlantis.
The women was strange. Her appearance seemed to change every five seconds! First she had gorgeous long brown hair, then it was black before it curled itself into blonde. Percy must've been hallucinating, for a moment she looked like Annabeth! Then he realised that it was Queen Aphrodite.
The Queen looked at Percy and giggled, winking before elegantly walking off to her palace room she'd be staying in for the wedding.
Percy wanted to curl up into a ball and sleep, but unfortunately for him, he was the groom of the wedding, which meant he must greet the guests.
"Hey." Said a soft voice. Percy jumped. Standing behind him was his best friend Rachel. Her frizzy red hair was clipped to the side and she wore a green dress with a white edge, bringing out her eyes.
"Hey." He replied, feeling suddenly awkward. "I see that the Prince of Sundown is coming."
Rachel blushed. "Yeah..."
Teasingly, Percy laughed. "Ohh! Someone has a crush!"
"Shut up!" Rachel cried, slapping Percy's arm playfully. Just then the prince arrived.
He had blonde-almost white-hair and had a handsome smirk that made Rachel fall under his spell. Oh how she wished he was hers! But at his arm was a beautiful girl. She had soft chocolate brown curls and wore a purple dress.
"Prince Octavian." Percy greeted. "Princess Reyna." Reyna smirked, but Octavian scowled. He walked stiffly with Reyna into the hallway before pushing her off.
"I told you not to do that!" He hissed.
Rachel sighed longingly. Percy smirked. "Rach, I have to set you up!""It's no use." Rachel said. "He already has Reyna. They're engaged."
"But still! I heard it was an arranged marriage!" Rachel perked up at that.

The preparations for the wedding went far into the night. When Annabeth and Athena arrived, Percy was disappointed to hear that he would not be seeing Annabeth until the wedding.
King Poseidon had arranged for Percy and Annabeth to go to a quiet beach for their honeymoon.
It was the morning of the wedding. Everything was set. The decorations were hung out, the seats set in order and the after party was ready.
Percy was nervous. He scratched the back of his neck as he waited for Annabeth to arrive. Suddenly, the band struck up a tune and Annabeth and her father came down the aisle.
