Chapter 13: Valentines Day

*KATNISS POV*
Its been a few weeks since Peeta is in the hospital and ive tried to be very careful that Delly doesn't hurt Peeta. I have been spending a lot of time with Peeta in the hospital because after he gets out im afraid we can't see each other as much anymore because of Delly. I just dont know what to do with her, and i thought she was a nice sweetheart when i met her-.- Well anyways right now im in the hospital with Peeta, Annie, and Finnick. Johanna isnt here because she had to go run some errands. She has been out a lot. Who knows what that girl might be doing. Today is also Peeta gets out of this freaking hospital. He has been walking around with his leg a couple of times just to get used to it. Hes getting pretty good at walking in it and today hes finally getting out. I walk into Peeta's hospital room. As i walk i see a path of roses leading up to his room. I open the door curious to ask why the roses were outside.

"Hey guys." The whole room is dark so i turn on the lights. When i turn them on i see a whole room with balloons, roses, and chocolates all over the place and each one of them has my name on it.
"HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!" Yells Annie, Finnick and Johanna. Wait why is Johanna here?? I thought she had stuff to do. Oh and yeah i forgot today was Valentines Day. Hooray.
"Oh my gosh guys, thank you for these stuff! It must have took a lot of time and money to get all of this."
Johanna speaks up "Actually, Peeta did this for you. Since he can't go out to get you these stuff, he gave me money and sent me out to buy all these gifts for you."

"Omg hes such a sweetheart. Speaking of, where is Peeta?" I see a giant teddy bear as the size of me sitting on his bed. i walk to it and as i grab the bear, a set of sweet soft lips touch mine. I open my eyes to see that its Peeta and he pulls away.

"OMG Peeta, I love you so much, you didnt have to do this for me."
"Katniss whenever im with you, you make me feel like the only guy on earth. You are so important to me and every inch of you is perfect, your light grey eyes makes my heart skip a beat. Your soft, gentle lips touch mine and sparks and fireworks flow all through my body. Your gentle, warm touch makes me feel safe and that Im with the right person. Without you, i would be nothing and i wouldn't be happy right now so im asking you Katniss, will you do the honor of going out on a date with me today?" I am in tears but not of sadness but with joy. i hug Peeta and he pulls me into his embrace. I smell bread and he pulls me in. It must be from the bakery he works in.

"Yes, yes Peeta ill go on a date with you. I love you so much." he smiles.

"I love you too Katniss"
