Chapter 15: School

*KATNISS POV*
🍪THE NEXT DAY🍪
Today is finally the day that Peeta goes back to school and the day that Delly will find out that Peeta and i are dating. It isn't going to be pretty but i've had worst stuff happen to me. We are driving to school. We finally get there and my stomach rolls over as i see Delly's squad and her watching us as we get out of the car. She looks at me then at Peeta. She sees Peeta's leg and then walks over to us. Oh no.

"OMG. Peeta what happened to your leg! Did this little girl cause this mess." Delly says looking at me. I look to the ground.
"Actually Delly, YOU caused this mess by kissing me and that caused Katniss to run out of the school and me to follow her leading up to a car crash. Now Delly i do not want to see you in front of my face ever again." Says Peeta as he grabs my hand and walk away. I look back and see a angry Delly stomping her foot to the ground. She gives me a death glare. I think she knows already. I better watch my back from now on.

After math class i go to lunch. I swear math is like the worst subject ever. Its just too hard and boring. Ugh, I hate school. I head toward my locker to put my math books away but i see a note on my locker. It reads 'I'M WATCHING YOU EVERDEEN'.
Oh no. Maybe Delly put this note on my locker because of Peeta and I dating. I turn around to find out that Delly and her squad are right in front of my face. Delly is giving me a death glare.

"So i see that you did not follow what i said the other day. You know what would happen if you didn't stay away from Peeta." Delly grabs me by my throat and holds me up in the air.

"I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM!" She throws me at a locker and her squad of slutty girls start kicking me rapidly on the floor. It hurts so much and i can feel blood on the floor. My head hurts a lot and everything seems blurry. Delly then ends everything off by punching me in the stomach. Delly and her squad run off leaving me laying down on the floor. I knew this was coming. Delly's next victim will probably be Peeta. No. I have to stop this, she can't hurt Peeta. Peeta doesn't deserve this, but i do. I do deserve what is going on to me right now. Peeta does not deserve me.

I try to stand up but i feel too weak. I touch the back of my head and end up with blood on my fingertips. I slowly walk to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. I have one black eye, Three bruises on my right arm, two bruises on my left arm, and many more. My hair looks like a mess and my makeup looks messy. My clothes are stained with blood and mud from shoes. I can't go back to class like this. Peeta will think im a wimp and will not like me anymore. I have to get out of here.

I run out of school and into my car I drive away into the meadow Peeta and I had our first date in.I sob with my knees onto my chest and my head in my knees. Peeta and I can never be together because of fucking Delly Cartwright. She's going to ruin my life until Peeta and I are no more. She's going to stay with Peeta after this. What's the point of even living anymore. I guess the whole world would be okay without me anyways...

*PEETA POV*
✨BACK AT SCHOOL✨

It's lunch period and i can't see Katniss anywhere. We have all the same classes together and she should be here by now. She said she was going to put her books away in her locker but now she's taking to long. What if Delly did something to her, I would never know.

"Hey have any of you guys seen Katniss? She said she was going to put her books away but she hasn't come back yet." i ask.
"No but you should go look for her. She has bern gone for a long time." Says Annie. I get up and walk towards Katniss' locker. As i walk to it I see a note on her locker that reads. 'IM WATCHING YOU EVERDEEN'. Who could have put this on her locker. My stomach rolls over as i think who could have done this. I see blood on the floor and stand in shock. My mouth wide open to be afraid that Katniss was involved this. I take the paper and put it in my pocket and run through the hallways looking for Delly. This isn't going to be pretty.
