Chapter 8: F*cking Delly

Its been a week since i have talked to Peeta and honestly i want to cuddle up with him right now. The last few days have been horrible, im failing algebra, i fell of a tree while hunting, i lost my bow and arrow, and worst of all my mom is dating Plutarch Heavensbe. It just tears me apart that my mom had already forgotten about my dad that quickly, ITS ONLY BEEN A YEAR! Whatever im going to school but as i walk up to school i see Peeta talking to Delly, they have been talking a lot lately, i hope they aren't you know what. I walk up to Annie and Finnick. They are such a cute couple.

"Hey Annie." I say.
"Hey Katniss! Wait what happened, you seem sad."
"Well its just that i haven't talked to Peeta lately and i rea-" I stop because i see the most horrible sight i have ever seen. I see Peeta and Delly kissing each other. My heart shatters into pieces. My stomach feels like butterflies having a party in there. My brain is starting to freak out and the whole world just blurs out. All i can see us Delly practically eating Peeta's whole mouth. Tears come out of my eyes and I run away. I hear footsteps running behind me but i dont care.

"Katniss!" says the person who is running after me. I dont even look back, all i do is run out of school and into my car and i drive away. I drive to somewhere where no one can find me and where all my good memories are.
