Chapter 16: Always

*PEETA POV*

I run through people in the hallways and finally i see her. I see Delly and her squad next to their lockers. I stomp up to Delly and push her up her locker. She looks at me breathing heavily.

"Where the fuck is Katniss, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!?"
She smiles weakly.

"I have no idea where the fuck she is bread boy, and she got what she deserved." I let go of her and she falls to the ground breaking her high heels she has on.

"MY SHOES!!" She screams. I run off to the first place Katniss would be at.

*KATNISS POV*

My forehead is bleeding now and i think i broke a few bones. I have tried to cover the bruises and cuts on my face with makeup and it kinda worked a little but the injuries on my body are still a little visible. I've tried to redo my braid i had on because it looked like a mess and i had a extra change of clothes in my car so i put them on. I just put on a plain white t-shirt with a jean jacket and a pair of sweatpants. (Picture in description) I look pretty much a bit better but i still look like a mess. I've been sitting down here on a pile of flowers for a couple of minutes now. I look up at the sky. The clouds above me forming different weird shapes. I close my eyes.

"Dont let me go Peety!" Peeta was spinning me around in his arms. We were playing tag and i tagged him but he didnt take that for an answer.
"Trust me Kat. I will never drop you." He spins me around a couple of times and we both fall on our backs laughing our heads off.
"Kat i really like you. You are the best."
"I really like you too Peety. i like like you."
"I do too Kat." We both smile and hug each other. As he hugs me i say something.
"Stay with me Peety?"
"Always." he responds.

I open my eyes. I notice the sound of someone walking up to me. I sit up and look around. I see a figure running up to me. His blond curls waving as the wind blows on them. His bright blue ocean eyes looking down on me. It's Peeta.

"Katniss, Katniss! I finally found you, what did Delly do to you?" I look down into my knees. I sigh and look into his blue eyes. He looks at me in shock.

*PEETA POV*

She's covered in bruises, cuts, and red marks. Her eyes are red and puffy which means that she was crying. Her hair is a mess. She has a new pair of clothes on. She looks nothing like my girl on fire.
She looks at me with innocence all over her eyes. She looks pale. She puts her head back into her knees and starts crying. I sit next to her and hug her tightly around my arms. She cries onto my chest and i start crying too. I give her soft kisses on her forehead. Oh if anything worse happens to Katniss, i will seriously be crushed because i wasnt there to help her.

"Peeta I-I look like a m-mess a-a-and everthing h-hurts and D-Delly-"
"Katniss its okay. You dont look like a mess, you look like the angel you always have been. Delly is already out of the problem, lets just say that she will need to get a new pair of high heels. Katniss, no matter how many cuts, bruises, or scars you have, they will never make me stop loving you, my beautiful girl on fire🔥. I love you Katniss." Katniss is in tears now. I wipe her tears off and pull her towards me and kiss her soft, warm lips. She kisses back and fireworks go all through my body. Katniss is the most beautiful sweetheart in the world, she lights up my whole world with her bright, shinning smile. She my everything and i would not be in this world without her.

"Now Katniss lets take you home and get you all cured up." She nods and i carry her bridal style into my car. I place her into the front seat and i get one of my hoodies and put it on her so she wont be cold. She snuggles in it and falls into a deep sleep. I smile looking at her beautiful face. She looks so cute when shes sleeping.

I drive up to her house and carry her bridal style into her room. I dont want to leave Katniss alone with no one to take care of her so i place her onto her bed and i cuddle in with her. I hug her tightly. I wont disrespect Katniss' mother's rule of doing anything "adult like" in her bedroom so i just cuddle up with her and kiss her on the cheek. She smiles her sweet, gentle smile. I will always be with my Katniss Everdeen. < i > Always. < / i >
