"So all this time it was Lucius? What a git, honestly Tori say the word and I'll go to that manor myself and finish him off" was the first thing Ron said when I filled everyone in on what had happened that evening.

"So? Closure, feel better?" Harry asked.

All I could do was shrug.

"I thought it would feel....like a relief. A weight off my shoulders, a weight that meant I could move on with my life. But all I feel is this loss, it's.....weird. He told me where dad was buried though, so that's something."

"Where is he?"

"Godric's Hollow."

"Right, let's go then" Ron said, standing up.

Harry swallowed hard. "Right now?"

"Yeah why not? Tori's waited her whole life for this, no time like the present."

"Right." Was all Harry could say. I put my hand on his shoulder reassuringly.

"If you want to stay-"

"No it's ok, I'll come. Haven't paid mum and dad a visit in a while anyway."

I looked over at Draco, who had fallen asleep in the armchair in the corner of the room and scribbled a quick note, deciding to let him sleep, and we disapparated to Godric's Hollow.

Even though it was creeping closer to summer, it was a chilly night and most of us were pulling our jumpers to our bodies in a bid to keep the heat in.

"So where is he then?" Ron asked, as he slung an arm around a shivering Hermione.

I opened the piece of paper that was in my pocket.

"Kind of in the middle, there's no headstone or anything but it's been marked with a single daisy apparently."

We walked into the centre of cemetery, examining names as we went. Just as we got to Lily and James Potter I saw the flowers. The single daisy that was planted when he was first buried had now bloomed into a whole load of them, right next to where Harry's parents were.

"Here. He's here."

"Right next to my dad, makes sense that they were put next to each other. Where's your mum?"

"Over there" I pointed to the fresh headstone that Draco had brought for me for Christmas, just a few metres away.

Hermione pulled her wand out from her pocket and waved it, transfiguring a couple of leaves into several roses. She handed two to Harry and two to me, and we laid them around our parents' graves. Ron and Hermione made a quick excuse about needing to finish an essay before they left us alone, looking down at the cold headstones around us.

"I thought killing Voldemort would make me have closure about what happened to mum and dad. I dreamt about it, how good it would feel, but when he died I just felt....the same."

"Because no matter what happens nothing came bring them back."

"Exactly."

"Hey there's some new flowers on mum's grave" I suddenly spotted the bunches of peonies that surrounded my mothers resting place and bent down to look for sign of who may have put them there.

"Does it say who they're from?" Harry asked, bending down to help me look.

"No, it's strange, I can't think who would have left them here, it's not like my mum was famous or anything, she lived a muggle life mainly."

"Well she wasn't famous but you are." Harry said, sitting down on the cold grass. I joined him, pulling my jumper closer to me as a shield against the cold.

"I'm not famous what are you on about Potter?!" I said, rolling my eyes at him.

"Hmmm the Gryffindor princess who's dating the Slytherin prince, gifted at potions and somehow managed to get the elder wand? I'd say that's pretty damn famous to me."

"Well, nowhere near the boy who lived." My comment earned an eye roll from Harry.

"You know you're the only person I can tell anything to Tori, it's good because talking to you keeps me connected to them, all of them."

"I feel exactly the same, it's weird, like knowing you know what this feeling is like brings me comfort, like I'm not the only person who's completely fucked up."

"Oh we're all a little fucked up. I nearly got killed multiple times my whole way through school."

"Yeah well my fiancée's dad killed my dad so I think I win that one now"

"Yeah I definitely think that would win the most fucked up award. Come on it's cold and Draco's probably woken up wondering where you are."

Draco was still asleep in the Gryffindor common room when we got back. I waved goodnight to Harry as he headed up to the dorms, leaving the room deserted. I grabbed a blanket off the back of the large sofa and draped it over Draco, brushing his hair softly out of his eyes. He began to stir, and I froze, expecting him to wake up, but instead he started to scream. Quietly at first, but gradually getting louder and louder until he broke out into a sweat. He suddenly woke up, shaking, screaming "NO!"

I cradled his head in my arms instantly, and he grabbed me, holding onto me for dear life.

"Shhhh it's ok" I stroked his hair as he steadied his breathing, his forehead clammy from sweat.

"Sorry, bad dream." He said as he pulled me onto his lap.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked and his face flashed with fear.

"It was about....my dad. He was trying to kill you and I couldn't stop him. I thought my nightmares had stopped, but clearly not."

"I still get nightmares too. But you just have to remember that they're not real my love, it's all in your head."

"But he is evil, it's not in my head. He's done bad things and everyday I hope I that I'm not ending up like him."

I took his face in my hands and met his grey eyes.

"Draco Malfoy you are the kindest soul I have ever met. You are nothing like him, and never will be. You can't choose your family, but you can choose your future, and you've made a good choice."

"God I love you so much." His hand found the back of my neck and he pulled me towards him, our lips meeting.

"I can't wait to marry you Victoria Belle."
