Kaitos pov

I came home to a empty house. Feeling a little worried I called my grandma.

"hello dear" grandma said. I let out a sigh of relief.

"hey ma  I was just calling to check in with you. Is kokichi with you?"

"yeah he's actually going through labour right now"

"what! Why didn't you call me?" I asked internally panicking.

"I'm sorry dear I was panicking I didn't think to call you!"

I mentally face-palmed. This woman!

"Well just hold on I'll be there soon"

I hopped back into my car and drove as fast as the speed limit would allow. I ran into the hospital, asked for the room number and burst through the door... To see kokichi laying in bed holding a tiny baby.

The baby had purple hair with purple tips and baby blue eyes. She was beautiful.

I got down on my knees and kissed kokichi on the head. "you did amazing baby I'm so proud of you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there."

"don't be. I'm just glad you're here at all" he looked down at the baby. "he's gorgeous isn't he? I decided on the name cosmo do you like it?"

"cosmo" I muttered. It was a beautiful name that connected her to space. Trust kokichi to come up with the perfect name! "I love it and I love her"

"do you want to hold her?" kokichi asked.

My heart stopped. Am I ready to hold her? I nodded nervously. He handed me the baby. She felt so soft and warm in my arms. She cooed softly in my arms. I smiled lovingly at her.

I'm a father now.
