Kaitos pov

I fiddled around with my tie nervously. Tonight was my classes formal and I've asked my girlfriend maki to go out with me. I'm both excited and nervous at the same time!

Shuichi and his boyfriend kokichi came skipping in.

"hey kai-chan you look good" kokichi smiled.

"thanks" I forced a smile.

"hey what's wrong kaito you look nervous" himiko asked.

I sighed "I'm just nervous about asking maki out. What happened if she thinks that I'm lame"

"kaito you confessing to maki is what gave me and kokichi the strength to come out of the closet." shuichi insisted "Your not going to let us down now are you?"

"your right I shouldn't worry about that. I should just worry about maki-roll"

They smiled proudly at me like their my parents!

Maki came up to me in a limousine. She was wearing a black skirt with a black tie.

"you look really pretty maki" I said blushing.

"thanks you look pretty good too" maki muttered.

"wow awesome limo maki-roll" kokichi giggled.

"whatever" maki glared at him.

"alright let's hop in before we're late" shuichi said.

We drove to the school which was decorated. We walked in and had a conversation.

"hey maki-roll you wanna dance" I asked with a slight blush.

"how about you get me a drink first" she suggested.

"sure thing!" I ran over to the punch bowl and grabbed some punch. When I turned around I couldn't see them.

That's odd. Where did they go?
