Losing Him

Kokichis pov

"kokichi let me the hell out of here!"

I let out a sigh. Kaitos been making a racket ever since he woke up and it's pissing me off! Sure I kidnapped and locked him up but he doesn't have to be such an asshole about it!

I was about to say something back when I heard that dreaded announcement.

"a body has been discovered!"

We both looked at each other in pure shock. Without a word I grabbed the keys and unlocked kaitos cell.

He walked up to me and punched me in the stomach "I'm going to beat the crap out of you!" he growled.

"yeah yeah save it till after the trail" I said feeling winded.

We ran up to the garden and gasped at who the victim was...

"s-shuichi" kaito gasped.

*time skip*

The cause of death was a suicide. Apparently shuichis plan was to start a class trail in order to get kaito away from me. He didn't have it in him to kill anyone so he took his own life. Dammit I didn't want things to end this way!

Kaito marched up to me with an angry expression. He looked ready to kill me.

"do want you want with me. I deserve it anyway" I said lowering my head.

"don't say that" I looked up to see kaito shaking with tears in his eyes. It just dawned on me that I've never seen him cry before "goddammit I've lost everything! Why did you have to say that!" he fell to his knees sobbing.

Watching him break down like that was enough to make me lose my composer that I held onto for so long.

I joined him in a river of guilty tears.
