Kokichis pov

I was walking down the hallway of our school. I was always a nervous wreak during this time. Mainly cause I was a small and weak boy, making me easy pray for bullies.

My biggest threat was easily kaito mamota. He was the biggest Bully in our school. People either looked up to him or feared him. Usually both.

"oi runt" I froze. Speak of the devil! "it's time for your daily beating!"

I ran away as quick as I could. Kaito scared me more than anyone in this school. I definitely didn't want to be caught by-

"hey where you going bitch!" a guy grabbed me and dragged me outside. He took me to the fountain area and forced me to my knees.

"this should be fun. Maybe I can crack your head open like a coconut!" he grinned sadisticly.

"please don't-" but my begging was useless. He grabbed me by the hair and smashed my head against the fountain. I felt my vision fading before he threw me to the ground. I looked up to see kaito tightening his fists. I shivered. What's he going to do to me?

"look kaito I messed the little shit up for you. Pretty cool huh?" he grinned.

"No" to my surprise kaito tightened his fists and punched the guy so hard that his nose broke "he is my pray!" he yelled grabbing the guys hair "you touch him again and I'll break your fucking face. You got it?"

"yeah I got it" the boy stuttered.

"good. Now get the fuck out of my face" he pushed the guy to the ground. He got up and ran away crying.

I stared at him in amazement. Kaito looked at me and turned red.

"don't look at me like that twerp! I didn't do it for your sake. I was simply keeping up my rep. I can't have just anyone playing with you" he walked away while rubbing his cheek.

I felt a smile spread across my face. It looks like kaitos not as bad as I thought!
