Kokichis pov

"I found it!" I stood up excitedly causing himiko to jump.

"really?"

"yeah look" I showed her the page.

"hmm" she looked closely at the ingredients "this is just like one of my potions. I could make this!"

"awesome!" I pulled her into a hug "himiko we're going to save him!"

"you never really told me who we're going to save" himiko pointed out.

"oh I guess I didn't" I scratched my head awkwardly "we're saving kaito"

*time skip*

We stared at kaito as he lay in bed. We gave him the medication we made and now we have to wait and see if it works.

Maki was glaring at me the whole time "this was just a ploy to kill him wasn't it you little rat?"

"no I'm trying to save him you dumb bitch" I glared back.

"do you want to die" she stood up with a knife in her hand.

"maki calm down" shuichi said gently.

"don't you tell me to calm down" she growled "he killed kaito!"

"who killed me?" we looked over to see...

"kaito!" I hugged him with tears in my eyes "I did it! I really saved you!"

"you sure did kichi. I feel tons better now" he leaned down and kissed me on the lips "thank you for not giving up on me"

I felt my cheeks go red. Did that idiot really just kiss me?
