Researching A Cure

Kokichis pov

"come on come on there's got to be something!"

I was looking through mountains of books, trying to find a cure for kaito. So far I've been unsuccessful.

"kokichi what are you doing" I looked up to see shuichi looking at me in confusion. Next to him was maki and kaito. Kaito was looking at me in pity. I hate pity.

"oh nothing beloved saihara-chan. I was just looking for a loophole in Monokumas rules so I could kill assassin girl" I lied flawlessly.

"why you" maki lunged at me only to be stopped by kaito.

"let's just go guys" the both looked at him in shock but nodded and walked on.

I continued with my reading. I will find a cure for kaito no matter what-

"what are you doing?" I looked up to see himiko this time. I rolled my eyes. I'll never find a cure if I keep getting distracted like this!

"oh nothing I'm just looking for a way to curse the school" that should get rid of her.

"in a medical book?" himiko raised an eyebrow while pointing to the book I was holding. Damn she's smarter then I give her credit for!

"fine the truth is I'm trying to fine a cure for someone"

"are they sick?" she took a seat next to me. Is she actually listening to me?

"yeah their coughing up blood" I explained.

"that's not good" himiko muttered. She picked up a book "ok I'll help you look for a cure"

"really?" I looked at her in surprise "don't you think I'm lying about this?"

"no one would try this hard for a lie. Not even you" she said simply.

"himiko I'm offended" I mock gasped "but thanks. I appreciate this"

"no problem. I'm trying to learn to do things without my magic anyway" himiko shrugged "now let's get started"
