Fixing Him Up

Kokichis pov

I woke up on a soft, white bed. I must be in the nurses office. I sat up and immediately felt a rushing pain in my head.

"whoe take it easy kid" I turned around to see kaito grinning at me.

"what are you doing here?" I asked bluntly.

"helping you you ungrateful pipsqueak" kaito yelled.

"why do you want to help me?" I folded my arms suspiciously.

"don't be stubborn brat!" kaito sighed "you had a bleeding head wound there's no way I could just leave you like that"

"your sidekicks had no problem leaving me" I muttered under my breath but kaito still heard.

"is that so?" kaito muttered "well in that case I'll have to have a word with them. What they did wasn't ok"

"you'd really take my side over your sidekicks" I said surprised. I thought for sure he'd claim that his sidekicks would never do something like that and I was just lying.

"it's not about taking sides it's about doing the right thing!" I said winking at me with a thumbs up.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing "how dose someone like you exist" I muttered in disbelief.

"I'll take that as a compliment" he said ruffling my hair "now let's get to the trail room the class trails about to start!" I slept through the whole class Trail? I just hope shuichi has the whole thing under control.

I jumped on kaitos back and he carried me to the class Trail. I couldn't stop staring at him as we walked. I was starting to learn more about momo-chan and I don't know if I like it!
