Kokichis pov

Saying maki wasn't happy with what she saw was an understatement. She immediately told our entire class about our relationship and they weren't exactly supportive.

"neah why would kaito want to date kokichi?"

"that degenerate is way over his head! Dating a rat like kokichi will only end in heartbreak!"

"atua agrees. Kokichi is no good for kaito"

"humanity is beautiful but a relationship with kokichi is certainly not"

Ok so their all against me. Nothing new there. I still have kaito and I'm not going to let these guys ruin the only happiness I have left-

"kaito I think you should break up with him"

I froze where I stood. Shuichi and keade where confronting kaito and there were telling him to break up with me!

"what are you guys talking about? I'm not breaking up with him" kaito said looking angry.

"kaito please his lies will end up hurting you" keade pleaded.

My lies will hurt him? But I'm not trying to hurt him. I love him why can't anyone see that!

"kaito I'm telling you this as a friend" shuichi said firmly. "you have to leave him before he really ends up hurting you"

I couldn't listen any more. I ran off with tears running down my cheeks no one believes in us. It's over.

I guess we're just not meant to be.
