"and that's about it" I finished spilling my guts. It wasn't easy becoming so vulnerable but it was nessisary if I want to take down the mastermind.

Kaito folded his arms and nodded as if he was taking it all in "so you did all this to try and lure the mastermind out?"

"that's right" I muttered.

"why didn't you just tell us that instead of tricking us all like that"

I was speechless for a moment. I can't believe he'd ask me something so stupid! "obviously cause one of us is the real mastermind. Jeez kaito try using your brain every once in a while!"

"I don't believe that at all!" kaito insisted "I believe in all my friends and together we can find the person who's actually behind this and take them down!"

"if you really believe that you're dumber then I thought"

"hey! Stop calling me dumb"

"why shouldn't I call you what you are stupid!"

We both looked up at the sudden bang to see maki holding a crossbow. She pointed it at me and was about to fire when...

"maki stop!" kaito stood in front of me "it's ok. He's on our side"

"how the hell is that little rat on our side?" she growled.

"cause he wants to find the mastermind same as us" kaito insisted.

"I thought he was the mastermind" she pointed at me.

"nah it was just another one of his lies" kaito sighed.

"tch. You little punk" maki glared at me.

I stared at the crossbow in her hand and grinned "alright you two listen up. I've got an idea"
