Thanks for reading."Mommy, can I get a candy for Torie?" Hermione looked down at her five year old daughter contemplating whether to give her the candy or not.
"Come on Mione, its not like she will eat them herself.". Remus said , "tell her cub you won't." She sighed and took out the jar , missing the silent high five the duo shared.
"Won't Nickie feel bad?" Liv said with the best puppy dog look.
Hermione stared at her but gave her another candy.
"And Rose?"
Sirius and Remus were trying their best to not laugh but it was very difficult to contain laughter when Liv was trying to extract candies from her mother.
"I will ask your cousins if they got their candies or not. Don't think you can eat them all, Understood Silvia?" Hermione asked with her hands on her hip.
"Okay Mommy." She said with an adorable pout on her lips.
"And listen to Grandma Molly, eat all your veggies and don't trouble anyone Okay?"
"Yes Mommy." She ignore the eye roll from the kid as she ran away to say bye to the two man. Bill and Fleur were going out and therefore had dropped Victorie and Dominique at the Burrow. And Lavender's mother was ill so Rose was staying there too. Molly had extended the invitation to Liv saying that all her grand children will be there under the roof with her. Hermione had no doubts that Molly could handle them all. She had raise seven children on her own which included the twins. She could easily handle the four quiet girls. And besides Ginny was still at Burrow. All the Weasley boys had moved out. Ginny too had moved in with Dean for a while however Molly urged her to come to live in Burrow since she was getting married in a month.
"Bye Uncle Padfoot." Liv hugged Sirius and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Take care Silly girl." He said giving her the backpack she was going to take. "And give your Grandma Molly lots of trouble." He whispered but it was loud.
"Sirius!" Hermione glared at him.
Liv giggled and moved into the open arms of Remus who was waiting for his turn.
"I'll miss you Daddy." She said resting her head on his shoulder.
"I will miss you too cub. But you can have lots of fun with your cousins." He told her.
Hermione looked at the duo sadly. It was clear that Liv considered Remus her father and Remus thought of her as his cub. But was it right? She had tried to get Liv to stop calling him Daddy now that she could speak properly and understand things a little bit. But she never stopped. And Hermione didn't have it in herself to be strict with her for this particular thing.
Remus kissed her forehead and let her go. Hermione threw the floo powder and first put her head through it to inform Molly and then let Liv go in.
Once Liv was gone , she turned to look at her house mates. Over the years they have all grown close to each other. Yes, even Harry and Sirius. They both realised that Mike was the problem between them. Harry kept Mike away from the family and Sirius avoided anything concerned with him. So as long as his name wasn't mentioned, they acted nicely with each other. You could see the small rift between them but you could also see how much they loved each other.
