You wait for Levi to digest the information you've just given him and you watch as he mulls it over in his head. Finding any possible way that you could be telling him the truth but he just can't.
"Now Miss Y/N, you know that that's impossible right?"
You nod your head, of course, if you were in his position you wouldn't have believed yourself either. At least not without some type of proof and explanation.
"I know it sounds impossible but at least let me explain before you think that I've officially lost my fucking mind."
He looks apprehensive but Levi trusts you and he can't think of a single reason why you would lie about something like that.
"When I was about five years old," You begin and he doesn't take his eyes off of you at all, "I started having these déjà vu moments that Hange was talking about last time, living through moments that I'd felt that I had lived through before. Honestly, I just ignored them, everybody has felt that at least once in their lives. But one day when I was probably nine or ten I had a dream that my brother would drown, my little brother," Levi interrupts you, "I thought you only had four older siblings?"
You look up at him sadly but continue your story, "As you know much of Asiko borders the Atlantic Ocean, and our capital city is a port city, our castle overlooks the sea. We were going to the beach the next day so that my older siblings could teach me and my little brother how to swim. They were mostly teenagers at the time, my eldest brother was even in his early twenties. I remember waking up crying and begging them not to go, that I saw that my little brother was going to walk into the ocean and never come back. He was only five but all my oldest siblings had learned around his age, I was just starting late. Could you imagine how frantic I was, but no one believed me. My little brother his name was Mark, he was so cute. He'd always ask me to play with him. To be honest I feel bad but I don't remember that much about him besides the fact that he'd cling to me the most out of everyone."
Levi gives you a look of pity, he can tell where this story was going. "Even though no one else believed me my mother did, she urged us to take a guard with us to watch Mark while the rest of us went in the ocean and we were absolutely forbidden to let him go anywhere near the water. Mark was devastated because he was so excited but my elder siblings obliged either way. The next day came and everything went as planned, we only had one guard who watched us, not like here where everyone has their own special guard. He was watching Mark while the rest of us went into the water and for an hour everything went well. I was just starting to pick up the basics but to be honest I just had a lot of fun splashing around rather than actually swimming." You smile sadly, "When we decided to take a small break for lunch and went ashore we couldn't find Mark or the guard responsible for watching him. Immediately everyone remembered my dream and started looking for him in the ocean and the guard. The guard returned only a few minutes later and when we questioned him he said, 'I went to the nearest store for a pack of cigarettes and told the young Prince to stay here and wait for me.' A search party was immediately dispatched but for the first few days, the coast guard and police couldn't find anything. About 5 days later his body washed up on shore."
Levi pulls you into a loving embrace and even though he comforts you, you don't lean into his touch or cry. You blamed yourself for Mark's death, every day you wished you had trusted your instincts, you should have pretended to be sick so they wouldn't take you, you should've suggested you ended earlier.
"I'm so sorry, Miss Y/N." He rubs your back and you both stay like this for a few minutes before you pull back, wanting to continue.
"Usually, randomly, I have a dream about something, to be honest, they're never quite clear or in order, it's just like these movie scenes that play and I literally feel as if I am the person I'm spectating. But I've never once been able to actually stop anything I've seen."
