Liz and Daniel let me stay with Elizabeth for the week. Well, Liz convinced Daniel to let me stay with Elizabeth for a week. He wasn't happy with my disappearing act.

Calum and Crystal were kind enough to run by the house and grab me some clothes. I've hid in Elizabeth's house the entire week, it's  a surprise her parents didn't mind. They were much friendlier than I had anticipated. The couple was actually quite fond of me. I did everything they asked, I helped around the house, obeyed all their rules.

Calum was here almost everyday. It was never weird hanging out with them. Not once did they make me feel like a third wheel. I tried to give them some privacy, let them spend some one on one time together, but Elizabeth wasn't having that and Calum didn't seem to mind much.

I was beyond grateful for everything, but I knew I was imposing. Daniel cut the week short demanding I come home Thursday night instead of Saturday morning. Liz couldn't save me this time.

"You staying for dinner?" Elizabeth's dad, Phill, asked. We were watching Criminal Minds in the living room, a show I had gotten him hooked on to during my stay.

"Not sure," I shrugged, "my dad's pretty set on me being home. Don't know when he's picking me up though," Daniel hadn't responded to my text. He could pick me up after work, or he could pick me up later. I really didn't know.

"Need me to drive you?" Phill offered, checking the time on his phone.

"I'll let you know," a scream from the television caught both of our attention.

Phill covered his heart, sighing in relief, "for a minute I thought that was Reid."

"I'm starting to think you love him more then me," Elizabeth's mom, Morgan, came in. She sat  between us, with a bowl of popcorn.

"Who doesn't love him?" Phill scoffed. He grabbed Morgan's hand, giving her knuckles a quick peck. She laid her head on his shoulder.

"Aw," they both smiled at me, "so adorable it's gross." They laughed at my commentary.

Elizabeth came in with a strange look on her face. Usually she was tired or a bit stressed from something that happened at school. Today she seemed uneasy, a little upset even. I stared at her questionably. She looked back at me apologetically.

"Hey hun! How was school?" Phill waved at his daughter. She went into the kitchen, hurrying back with a glass of orange juice.

"It was fine," she mumbled.

Her mom watched the door, waiting for someone else to come in. When it didn't open she turned to her daughter, "where's Calum?"

"His mom pulled him out of school early. I think she said he had a dentist appointment. He'll be by later," Elizabeth noticed my bag by the door and frowned. I told her last night I was leaving, she wasn't thrilled.

"It's nice having another male around the house," Phill jokes.

"Oh dear, he's the only man around the house. You don't count," Morgan patted his leg. This was their relationship, Phill was extra cuddly, and Morgan picked on him. An adorable relationship that they made work perfectly. The two were high school sweethearts.
