"I hope you know I'm keeping the couch," We were on our way to see the new place for the first time. Our friends helped us pack up the entire house over the weekend. Leaving us to  live out of boxes up until today. Today Liz and Daniel officially got the keys.

Liz and Ben went over to the house to clean, while me and Ashton had been loading boxes into a moving truck that my dad rented. Jack and Bradly were off to get a trailer for the furniture.

Needless to say it's been a long morning, and the day's not over yet. Luke and the rest of our friends left school and came rushing over to the old house to help us finish up.

The goal was to get everything out and over in one day. Though I didn't see that happening. We may get the furniture out, but I doubt we'll get all the boxes too. The Hemmings had quite the variety of things.

"If it means that much to you then you can keep the couch," Liz needed all of the four kids that would be living with her to stop by so they could pick out their rooms. Luke informed me of this after he walked into the house, grabbed my arm, and drugged me back to his car.

"This isn't fun," he frowned. We had been going over who got what on the way to the new place. Really Luke had been telling me what he wanted and what I could have, and I've just been agreeing without any argument.

"It's your stuff Luke. You're entitled to it," I tilted my head, watching the GPS on my phone, "turn left at the red light."

"You do realize if we go by that logic the only furniture you actually have is a bed," he pulled into the turn lane, flipping on his blinker. He took the turn faster than he should have. Luke drove as if we had lives to spare!

"And the night stand I got from target. Four miles till your next turn," so far we agreed we each get our beds, obviously, he gets the tall dresser, and I'll get the long. Then I have a night stand, and technically the rest is his.

"Bradly's giving me his tv, plus the dresser it's sitting on. Conner's giving me his big ass, fur, bean bag! I'm excited about that."

"What?" Luke glanced at me, "he loves that dumb thing."

"It is not dumb it is luxurious, and him and Dale are buying matching grey ones for their bedroom," they were having to furnish the entire apartment, which sucked for money purposes, but Connor was excited. This was kinda his thing. He already labeled himself my future wedding designer for my future nonexistent wedding. "Honesty, that's all I need for my room."

"It's gonna be so weird not having you in the room with me," Luke frowned. This was hard for him, but he was trying. He had made it very apparent that he didn't want to move, but he wasn't getting much of a say at this point. It was already done, so he was just riding it out.

"What are you talking about? You're getting your own room back! Isn't that exciting?" I nudged his arm without really focusing on him. It's hard to focus on him when he's giving me the same longing eyes that I've been giving him this entire time.

"No," he passed a car, "I like having you around. It's nice waking up to you every morning."

"I bet your girlfriend's excited," I muttered under my breath. Zoey had been coming by to 'help' with the move. She couldn't do much. We had her fold clothes and wrap up dishes. The only thing she had been doing efficiently was getting on everyone's nerves!
