TW: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE
Before I knew it, my alarm was going off, signifying that it was time for me to get up. After about 2 minutes of me just lying there, I finally decided to move. I went to go and take a shower before brushing my teeth and heading down the stairs.
"Good morning sweetie!" my mom exclaimed, happy to see me at such an ungodly hour.
"Morning mom." I said, whilst going over to kiss her on the cheek.
"Those brownies you made yesterday are really good, I had one this morning and it was amazing, you should make them more often. Breakfast?" she asked. I'm not surprised that my mom ate one of the brownies, she's very stubborn and does the opposite of what you ask her to do. I guess that's where I get my stubbornness from.
"No thanks mom, I'm running late so I'll just grab an apple to go." I said, whilst putting the container of brownies in my backpack and grabbing an apple.
"Okie sweetie. Well I'm gonna go take a shower and get ready for work I'll see you after school. Have a good day!" She said, leaving me all alone in the kitchen. I then left, making sure the front door was locked, and started the walk to school.
It seemed like the minutes dragged on, like time was in slow motion. It felt like 9 hours had passed before I made it to school. I threw my apple into the first bin I could find before I walked down the hallway to my locker, praying that Ellie and her bitches would be too busy being distracted today by a particular bad boy, that they wouldn't bother tormenting me. However it seems like god wasn't on my side today, because as I was putting my bag away, I heard; and smelt, her chewing gum obnoxiously loud.
"Aw, looks as though I won the bet. Your little 'best friend' doesn't want anything to do with you. You wanna know why? Because you're a fat, ugly little slut who can't do anything right. God if I looked like you I would've killed myself by now." She stated, looking deep thought and twirling her light brown hair. Her friends were giggling and snickering, like they were watching a comedy show.
"Nick just isn't your type Julia; in fact, no one is. C'mon, you've never even dated someone so what kind of chance would you have dating someone like Nick?" She asked, in a tone where she was trying to sound like she cared, but her laughing gave away the fact that she clearly didn't give a shit.
"I don't want to date Nick." I said, quite loudly actually. She just rolled her eyes before muttering a "yeah, sure. Whatever" with an extreme amount of sarcasm and walking away.
I grabbed my History books and headed to class, only to be very surprised that not only was Nick in my history class, but he was in it early; and in my seat.
"Could you like, move, somewhere else please? This is my seat." I said, trying to be nice. I don't have the patience to deal with his bullshit today.
"Nah I think I'm comfortable here, so I'm not gonna move. You're more than welcome to take a seat that is no where near me though." He stated, looking up at me with a fake smile. This bitch. Okay, two can play that game. As we had our little staring contest, I didn't hesitate to sit down; right on top of him. To say he was surprised would be an understatement.
"Wow, you've lost a lot of weight Jules." He looked at me, and I saw the slightest bit of concern in his eyes. I internally do a victory dance at his compliment, my diet was working.
"As much as I like this position Julia, please get off me." He said. I rolled my eyes at his immaturity, but then caught onto his last statement, which he stated with a desperate tone. He was lying, I hadn't lost weight and I was physically hurting him. I quickly got off him, as if his touch had burned me, and sat down next to him. Soon enough the teacher walked through the door, and I didn't speak to Nick that entire class.
