"Saburo is cheating?!" You yelped in shock. Several thoughts were going through your head.
Hawks shifted slightly, shuffling from one foot to another. "I saw him sneaking out one night really late. He held his finger up to his mouth when he saw me; he looked pretty guilty."
I knew Saburo was acting strange recently! You thought to yourself, feeling anger starting to bubble inside you. The way he's been acting recently, being so frustrating and unwilling to communicate or work with you.
"So, do you think he's cheating Y/n?" The hero asked, taking you out of your thoughts.
Your gaze snapped up to look at him but instead of that smile that was plastered on your face a few minutes ago, there was a frustrated scowl. "Oh, he could absolutely be cheating!" You growled. "I've been feeling that there was something off with him lately! He's been jumpy, nervous, and avoiding eye contact!" You confessed, nothing really holding you back from continuing. "I wasn't sure what it was but I had a gut feeling that he was lying to me about something."
"Quite the perceptive one eh, Y/n?" he teased, trying to lighten your mood, "I'd trust your gut on this."
He stared at you to see if your expression changed, noticing that what he brought up was really getting to you. He knew that your relationship wasn't the most stable at the moment but he just felt like he needed you to know. He couldn't hide something like that from you.
"Your right," You smiled slightly, feeling yourself calm down.

You let out a sigh as you lay next to your husband, you couldn't help but compare your relationship with other fictional ones. But fiction was fiction. The love, the romance, a connection that could conquer all.

You shuffled from your side to lay on your back, huffing softly and rubbing your face in frustration. The body beside you shuffled to turn over to face you, "Will you quit moving so much?" Saburo complained, his groggy voice barely making his words audible. "You better not throw off my sleep schedule. I have important meetings Monday."
