a/n: fun fact, last chapter was going to be the last one but the 2am grind never stops.
You looked up at the dim restaurant lighting, shining against your and Keigo's skin, fighting against the darkness of the starry city night above you. The two of you chatted idly as you entered the restaurant Keigo managed to snag reservations too. The light grew stronger, its force quickly tiring your eyes as they rushed to adjust to the change.
A tan woman approached pointedly, her eyes widening in realization as they laid upon you two, "Ah Mr. Takami! We've been expecting you." She called out as she approached. Her eyes landed on you with a soft look, "and is this Ms. Takami?"
Surprised at the name, "not yet," you chuckled, now trying to brush off the heat forming on your cheeks. You couldn't deny that the idea simply sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
"But soon." Keigo jumped in with his own playful tone, placing his hands on your shoulders and giving them a soft squeeze.
"Right this way to your table." The woman nodded trying not to show her amusement. She lead the couple to a secluded but not too far corner of the restaurant. You and Keigo both sitting beside each other in the booth with soft red velvety leather softening your backs.
"This moment right here," Keigo spoke up, catching your attention once the woman left. "It's perfect."
Keigo slid his hand to intertwine his fingers into yours. "This really is the most perfect evening." You pulled your conjoined hands up to add your other free hand to the hold. "Thank you, Kei."
"Just know you mean everything to me." He pulled your hands to his lips where he lay a soft kiss on them while stroking them softly with his thumb.

A few weeks passed, and Keigo managed to secure a penthouse where the two of you settled in comfortably. It was right in the middle of downtown - you couldn't get any closer to the action. You could see the whole city from just the living room.
