Your back crashed down onto the pillows as you panted from the sin you and your husband just finished. Another try. Saburo groaned as he stretched before turning on his side. You stared up at the ceiling thinking to yourself before hearing heavy snoring coming from your naked lover.

You glanced over at him and sighed before looking up at the ceiling once again and letting your thoughts envelop your mind.

'How could he keep blowing off his sperm testing? I just don't understand.'

You sighed before getting up from the bed to go and clean yourself up. Plus you might as well sleep on the sofa since you couldn't stand his snoring.

'Let me be positive and hope that this the month that it all works out.'

After cleaning up and putting on nightwear you made your way to the sofa and tried to get comfy.

...

You sat patiently on the toilet staring at your hands, nervously fidgeting with your fingers

You sat patiently on the toilet staring at your hands, nervously fidgeting with your fingers.

Waiting for this pregnancy test feels like an eternity.

You heard the ringing of your phone alarm go off signaling that the test was ready.

'It's ready! Remember to stay positive. If I can stay positive, the universe will bring me what I want.'

With that thought, you picked up the pregnancy test and flipped it over to evaluate the marking on it. Your excited state drifted away as you saw a singular line displayed on the test.

'No! No! No! This can't be happening to me!'

You sobbed quietly as you kneeled on the cool floor in despair heart aching at the result.

'Why? Why? Why? I would be such a great mom. Why am I being punished?'

Tears of sadness and anger ran down your cheeks as you shut your eyes, completely frustrated, and blinded with anger.

You started to grab anything and everything in my medicine cabinet and throw it all over my bathroom. Completely losing control. Your heart was broken. But even through your deepest pain, a little voice said to you-- You will get through this.

And yes, you were determined that you would. But that didn't mean that you didn't need some help. Let me tell you something: When you've been trying as long as you have, you hope for the best and plan for the worst. You stock up on cherries and whipped cream, you buy your favorite ice cream because you're going to NEED a sundae.

You sighed, looking down at all the items that were thrown. Making your way out of the bathroom before walking to your fridge you opened the freezer ready to make yourself a delicious comfort dessert before taking in what you were ultimately faced with.

"What the- Saburo ate all my ice cream!" You growled before slamming the freezer door closed. "I will not be denied this ONE simple pleasure!" You declared before stomping towards your room, getting changed, and stomping your way to the door.

And so you were going to the grocery store. NO ONE was going to stop you!

As you opened the door of your apartment you froze as you were faced with Hawks staring back his hand up ready to knock. A surprised expression was on both your faces as you stared at one another in awkward silence. "Keigo!" You yelped backing up a bit, opening the door slightly, and inviting him in.

He made his way inside, looking around the room seeming to have caught interest in the items in the room, or he was just avoiding eye contact after the weird encounter.

Your eyes gazed over the bunch of red feathers he had on his back facing you. They looked so soft and you wanted nothing more but to graze your hand over them. "What are you doing here?" You asked once you refocused on the main issue here, he turned to face you once he heard your voice.

"Oh. Um, I heard crying and yelling through the wall and I came over to see if you were okay or were in any potential danger." He paused for a second trying to catch your eyes, your head was looking down in sadness avoiding eye contact. "Are you okay?"

"Not really." You sighed closing the door and leaning your back on it.

"What's going on?" He asked, concern evident in his eyes.

"Well, I got some bad news and my husband isn't here so I can't seek comfort from him, and to make matters worse, he ate all my ice cream and all I wanted at the moment was a freaking sundae! So now I was headed for the store to get more." You finished looking up at the hero.

"You're kidding," He said with an amused look on his face. "You could have called me. I've got the ice cream and I was just going to the store for whipped cream and cherries." Your eyes widened in surprise and excitement from the suggestion.

"Seriously?" You beamed, for some reason sharing ice cream with Keigo made you suddenly forget about what you were sad about and replaced the feeling with excitement and joy.

Finally, something good is happening today.

Keigo returned the smile before it turned into a troubled frown. "You saw the fight Niko and I were having earlier...if you can call it that. I mean, what's the word for me getting yelled at and her telling me I'll never amount to anything?" As Keigo went on his tone turned into one of sadness to frustration.

"I'm not sure. I'm more familiar with the word for me wondering why my husband doesn't care about anything I care about." You scoffed and responded with an unamused tone.

Keigo chuckled, "Ah yes, that one."

You smiled and crossed your arms over your chest before saying, "So I take Niko's not home either?"

"She went out. Who knows where. I don't even ask anymore." Keigo scoffed.

"Well, you know...between the two of us, we've got sundaes." You smirked, "we could just skip the grocery store and combine pity parties."

"Is it still a pity party if there are sundaes? I think that's just a party." Keigo teased.

"You're right." You responded looking down in thought about how you could add to possibly improve your small party with Keigo.

"Well, they're doing fireworks over the mountains in 10 minutes," Keigo suggested. "If we go up to the roof, I bet we can catch them."

"I'll grab bowls." You grinned, making your way to the kitchen.

"Will you meet up there in 5?" He asked, stepping closer to your figure with an excited smile adorning his features.

Your body stiffened slightly at how close he was to you. You looked at him feeling your body flutter at the adoring sight in front of you.

"You had me at ice cream."
